    Right, a call to action!

    John Gaunt is a prick.

    Right, a call to action!

Yes. The arena is one SISU would hold onto (under ARVO as previously discussed on this forum)

    Petition

We should get it out there also. Twitter/Facebook etc for those who use. Other clubs forums.

    Right, a call to action!

PS - more than one person on here with a business brain, it's just he is the one who you agree with. You make the same mistake as he in assuming that because your opinion differs that others are wrong. Doesn't make you more intelligent. Maybe less. There are different ways to go about this...

    Right, a call to action!

You are missing the point. What we are asking is they don't give them ownership, rather a rent reduction or access to revenue streams (which the club previously had and sold). Why would you want to give assets to a company who are liable to asset strip and liquidate?

    Right, a call to action!

I think most on here are saying that. Give them access to revenue streams and/or reduce the rent but do not sell. Think lines may have been crossed a little.

    If the worst happens?

And the 3 that haven't, have you changed your mind.

    Right, a call to action!

Respect your opinion, but I think most on here understand the facts. We understand that the council have in the past played dirty and wrestled a share of the stadium from the club. The rest was virtually given away by the previous regime. Now is not the time to give it back. SISU have been open...

    Right, a call to action!

Think it's worth starting a new thread with the petition at the top, so it doesn't get lost in history. Will do it later when I get home if no one else gets chance.

    Any news on this yet?

    Right, a call to action!

    No. Sounds a little half-arsed.

    Right, a call to action!

Just read through properly. Needs to be clearer that we don't want SISU to own the stadium nor the club while SISU own the club.

    Right, a call to action!

Although try to make it appeal to non Coventry supporters and those outside Coventry also to maximise signatures.
  14. mark82

    Right, a call to action!

You think you could but that into a petition?
  15. mark82

Do I make my lad a sky blue supporter?

Disagree. We could have a monopoly on the whole of Warwickshire if the club put itself out there more.

    Right, a call to action!

I think they are pretty easy to put together. Would do one but not got access to a pc at the moment. Think we just need an agreed message that someone can copy & paste into a petition.
  17. mark82

    Right, a call to action!

Exactly Chris. If someone creates a petition, we can get it out there on twitter, Facebook, etc. we could maybe also put it onto other clubs forums in the hope of getting some signatures from the wider football community. Although maybe not Sunderland! :)

    Right, a call to action!

This is the link to do it: http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/ Tried doing it from my phone but it's not playing ball.
  19. mark82

    Right, a call to action!

Can someone with access to a PC start an epetition. Think it is worth doing. Something along the lines of: Coventry City Council should block any attempt by SISU, the hedge fund that currently owns Coventry City Football Club, to buy a share in the Ricoh Arena (or in Arena Coventry Ltd)...

    Right, a call to action!

    You should send that.
