Questions to Timmy at the Formums

Is it illegal to be Vat Registered and non trading?

    Season Tickets

Once it leaves Coventry it is no longer our club. I don't understand how fans can betray the memory of their club by going and supporting the people that have taken their club away.

    Kit Delayed

Maybe Fishers plan is to just tell a builder about how everyone is against sisu and hope that he feels sorry for them? Can anyone with free access do a credit check on holdings? (I can do them at work but would get in trouble if I was caught using it for non work stuff!).

    Kit Delayed

Basically our credit rating is shite.

Another interesting article about the accounts

The whole point of the article was that it was written in laymans terms. Its a Football blog, not a Financial report.

So where would we be better off

Most peoples gripe with the Ricoh is that its not Highfield Road. Well this new stadium will be even less like Highfield Road than the Ricoh.

    Statue for Mr Fisher

Theres already one in town on Cook Street gate. http://www.historiccoventry.co.uk/wall/cookst-gate.php Might not be an accuarate likeness but sums up his persona pretty well I think.

Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

Why would I want to go and watch another towns football team?

So where would we be better off

Why? There is nothing to suggest that concerts will stop.
  10. bigfatronssba

So where would we be better off

No. A 15k stadium in close proximity to the Ricoh will not generate enough income to be useful.

Who Should have paid for the Ricoh site Clean-up?

Well they've threatened to move to Walsall and build a new stadium over it. I would consider that blowing ones top slightly.

Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

So why spend £30m on a new ground, lose 70% of our support, and still be no better off? Wouldn't it be more useful to start mending bridges and buy the Ricoh (in a professional way, not by trying to bankrupt it)?
  13. bigfatronssba

Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

The Ricoh will become available 365 days a year, when a dedicated conference venue like that exists in the area everything else will struggle.

why we are so dissatisfied with SISU and could we expect any better off new owners?

I imagine the Qpr fans anger was directed at their own club.

why we are so dissatisfied with SISU and could we expect any better off new owners?

Important yes, but no the one and only problem. If you believed Tim Fisher we would be in the Champions League by now if it wasn't for the stadium issue. Its an issue stirred up by sisu to try and deflect criticism of their own failings.

Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

The extra pittance/revenue gained (F&b's) from this new stadium will just be lost on maintenance. Remember there will be no concerts, no conferences. Highfield 2 will be more antiquated than Highfield 1.
  17. bigfatronssba

why we are so dissatisfied with SISU and could we expect any better off new owners?

Yes debt is irrelevant if it can be serviced. However the debt has grown year on year, and we all know the rent isn't the only reason.

why we are so dissatisfied with SISU and could we expect any better off new owners?

The response being if someone is stupid enough to pay over the odds for something who is at fault?
  19. bigfatronssba

why we are so dissatisfied with SISU and could we expect any better off new owners?

Grendel, do you think it was morally wrong for Ray Ranson to sell Gary Borrowdale for decent money despite knowing he was rubbish?

why we are so dissatisfied with SISU and could we expect any better off new owners?

OK, so please explain how this would have been different if the club owned the Ricoh over then last few years? Losses would be £55m rather than £70m? What a success that would be!
