    The CBS

It’s just to create access for the people with standing tickets on the pitch. They do it for every gig up there. They’ll be put back

    Rob Gurney v Clive Eakin

Yes, he did the Norwich home game.

Transfer Rumour Dabo / Rose / Kelly gone?

Could well be Kelly’s choice. Would rather be a regular for a league 1/2 side, rather than a bit part player in the championship. I’m sure he didn’t expect this late run of games for the club, and looks like he is playing with no pressure. In contrast to the Wrexham game, where he looked tight...

    Rob Gurney v Clive Eakin

Rob Gurney fell out with Strachan didn’t he? Strachan refused to talk to CWR in Gurney’s latter days due to criticism he received, so the BBC moved him over to WM. Never really liked Adam Dent. He was a Wolves fan, and could be quite patronising about CCFC. Eakin is a Tranmere fan, but I...

Think we took 43k to Wembley for the trophy final, and 37k for the playoff final

    Two Rotherham tickets

Some of our away followings in the last seasons of the premier league were very small. Went to West Ham the season before we got relegated (Keane, McAllister) and there can’t have been more that 300 City fans there. Lost 5-0.. Also Bradford away the next season we probably took around 500 on...

how many famous cov fans are there?

Regarding the Enemy, only the bass player is a City fan. The singer is from Birmingham and not overly into football, and the drummer is a Man Utd fan. They took on the guise of all being City fans though, in order to build local support.

    OldCoventry on Twitter

It’s always bittersweet looking at old photos of Cov. So much history, but such a shame what we have lost.

    Most Shocked About A Result

Bad: The game at Crystal Palace where we were 1-0 up in the 90th minute and lost 2-1. Was early in the season, but knew we were in big trouble.

    Coventry RFC 2019/20 season

Seems the RFU see established clubs like Coventry, Bedford, Richmond etc.. as an inconvenience. They would much rather have a second division of Wasps A, Harlequins A, Leicester Tigers A etc.. Sad day for rugby :(

Sky Blue youth superstars who never made it...

Tom Bates was highly rated as a youngster. Made 1 appearance under McAllister, then disappeared without trace.

    The Old Hall

Being turned into an Indian wedding venue I heard but the guy has had ongoing struggles with planning permission over the years. Think he wanted to knock the whole thing down, but was made to keep the frontage of the original building. Could be wrong, but that’s what I’ve heard

    Gosford Street - Coventry

There was a pub there, it got demolished to make way for the university multi story car park. Can’t remember the name, but i’m sure it had a picture of Che Guevara on the wall..?
