I don't think it is as black and white as how many games. There are a number of situations that could lead to Thorn being sacked: - Bottom half after 10 games. - Outside playoffs and not looking likely at Xmas. - Win first 10 games then lose 6 or 7 on the bounce, even of still in playoffs.

To be fair I think most the ones quoted would have been managers choices as they were championship players. The lesser known players like Deegan, Gunnar, Mifsud are more likely to have been scout recommendations.

Absolutely agree. And he is a top class footballer. Silly comments when he left us, but that is just what he is like. Sometimes doesn't engage his brain before opening his mouth. Have spoken to a couple of people who have met him who say he is a top bloke who has time for everyone.

Should still be top 6. No excuse not to be top 6 so Thorn should go if we are not top 6 at the end of October.
