Only because you've assumed that there is a "model like Brentford" rather than what in reality is just pragmatic use of the budget which might some times result in selling players on at profit. You can't recruit players solely on the basis of whether or not you are going to be able to sell them...

Bidwell hasn't even played 10 games yet. Waghorn has been disappointing overall but has had a few injuries and COVID, was doing fairly well early on this season. Walker isn't a bad player but for whatever reason Robins no longer fancies him. You never know though, Biamou was out of the picture...

Good thread here about the Tory / right wing shitehawks

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

You have stated a group with a pre existing raison d'etre are a "pro Putin" group when the evidence is there that they're exactly just anti war.

5 years today Mark robins took over

Yes it was, I was there. We drew 1-1 I think. The night in the Wheatsheaf was more memorable

Stop the War have campaigned against wars since 2001. I guess the campaign against Iraq was a pro Saddam thing then? Or was it pro Putin at that time?

It wasn't a dreadful attempt, the ball bounced up so he sensibly got the ball under control rather than try to slash at a shot. The header wasn't a great chance either as I've posted previously. I think Waghorn has been disappointing but he's being scapegoated here now

Indeed, fans expectations of him are you sky high over one great moment which might just be a flash in the pan

Just seen that second goal again which was really the crucial goal in the game. Sheaf is pressing on the edge of their box but Hamer comes up the pitch and ends up nearly level with him which leaves the big gap. Sheaf runs back into the gap but the ball goes over his head and Swansea are in. It...

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Putin wants a Czarist Russia not the USSR, he saw the Bolsheviks as traitors for breaking up Russia and giving the SSRs the right of secession. I find it difficult to believe he admires Stalin on that basis.

Laughable comment. We have seen just a good goal from Tavares, nothing at all to suggest he could have a player of Christie's be standard "on toast"

He certainly has been very underwhelming and I expected far better, looks heavy and one dimensional

    Waghorn

The header wasn't an easy chance, very little pace on the cross and he did the right thing trying to guide it into the corner
