In fairness HS2 isn't just about journey times, it's about releasing capacity on existing lines. The country needs to get real about major infrastructure project, the government spends a lot of money but that's all going into the real economy. We need a lot lot more of it.

They always said the spend per head for football matches was lower but the average number of heads has increased by significantly, probably not much worse off than they were 2014-2019 in relation to match day income across both teams but receiving a larger rent.

I think red is the agreed West Coast Mainline colours. Blue would have looked better but it's ok.

Yes, also a tunnel exit across to Central Six Looks good. Nice bit of detailing with the wooden ceiling paneling similar to the original station building
