Scores on the doors vs Swansea

Grimes was immense today. It's just becoming the norm now, something Lampard alluded to in his post match interview.

I thought Torp struggled 1st half but was better 2nd. Agree about Rudi

I now know of two people who've had whatever it is and both had it for 2 weeks. Said on another thread, 1 is my mates son in law who's as fit as a butchers dog usually so it's a bit worse than the usual 3 day job but I think it must coming to and end for the squad now.

He was wretching when he went off which made me think he needed to be sick but it could have been coming out of both ends

I'd add the way MVE went off. Nearly puked by the look of it and went straight down the tunnel. I'd try and drag another shift out of him for Ipswich and rest him for the Charlton game.

    Fan zone

Went in the fanzone. Thought it was really good. Easy to get served for drink and food. SBITC stuff looked really good along with other stuff going on, darts, axe throwing etc. Blues v Derby on the screen and a band as well. Not something I'll be using too often but I was impressed and money...

    Rivals for auto spots

I think so,though with the exception of the cup game, (and some might want them to win that), we could do with Stoke having a decent 5 or 6 week spell given their fixtures.

How much will we spend in the summer?

I'm not on about Luton, you should probably read my comments about them in post 253. But there are plenty of others who've never managed to build on a season or 2 in the PL. And as I've also pointed out, some of those who have managed to stay didn't need Forestesque spending to do it.

How much will we spend in the summer?

There's plenty of evidence that it's not quite that simple.

How much will we spend in the summer?

It will be the associated wage bill and terms of contracts that will be the potential issue rather than the outlay. I don't think that's something King won't plan for however.

How much will we spend in the summer?

How do you know it doesn't risk anything long term though? This is what I keep saying about having a contingency in place.

How much will we spend in the summer?

About 23k I think with a big increase in corporate on Kenilworth Rd. As endearing as Kenilworth Rd is, it's a shithole

How much will we spend in the summer?

I still think, in 20 years time, Luton will look on their approach and their new ground and think they got it right despite that relegation. Football fans are very focused on the short term, but sometimes a bit of longer term thinking is required.

How much will we spend in the summer?

No one would, but spending big doesn't guarantee that you wont. Lowest spenders of the 3 that came down was Leicester, 91 million. There probably is an amount that guarantees staying up, but I'd imagine it, and the associated wage bill, are astronomical.
