Finally acknowledged the ccfc will never own a stadium under sisu

I cant see any reason as to why ACL cant be set up as a division of CCFC. ACL as a ltd company would cease to exist, and all assets would belong to CCFC. ACL though would continue to operate separate from the football side of things.

Finally acknowledged the ccfc will never own a stadium under sisu

As long as the stadium is going to the same company as the golden share, market value is paid, and safeguards are put in place then I don't have a problem with them buying the stadium. However I do have a problem with the stadium going off to separate companies. Sisu aren't to be trusted to do...

Finally acknowledged the ccfc will never own a stadium under sisu

The progressive argument is for the the Ricoh lease (freehold is of no use to the club) to belong to the same company as where the golden share sits. Ccfc should be allowed to purchase acl for the market rate, with various safeguards put in place.

Finally acknowledged the ccfc will never own a stadium under sisu

So we have to be open minded with sisu and accept that mistakes have happened but believe that they will be better in the future, but when it comes to the council we judge them on decisions made 10 years ago? That's a very open minded and progressive argument you've got there.

Yes I hope you have too. Let's explore all avenues. Why not get the council to build a ground and the club can rent it? I'm sure you will be in favour of at least considering this as we have to have an open mind and not let preconceived ideas affect our judgement.

Yes, I was happy when they took over. Are you suggesting I should have been hostile back then when I knew nothing about them?

Finally acknowledged the ccfc will never own a stadium under sisu

Probably one of his companies, I was in agreement with you on that. However as osb58 points out its irrelevant on the face of it who owns the stadium. What is important is that the stadium is run in a professional way, ccfc gain the benefits, and Ccfc and acl be part of the same group. I...

Finally acknowledged the ccfc will never own a stadium under sisu

In whatever walk of life I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. PH4 has done nothing to make me think he would damage the club, sisu on the other hand......

Who do you want owning the ground? Sisu? CCC? or CCFC?

    Reduced ticket prices next Tuesday

Why? The freehold would be in a separate company.

Why do you care if Sisu own the Freehold? Its not going to make any difference to the club long term.

Who Votes Sell the stadium to SISU

I can't understand why anyone would want sisu to own the Ricoh. Remember it would be sisu that owns it not ccfc.

Who Votes Sell the stadium to SISU

After reading that in the telegraph today, where otium admit that the stadium would be owned by a seperate company - not a chance.

You make them sound like a West End nightclub owner paying 'insurance' to a gang who will burn their nightclub down unless they pay up.

Led Reid article stating that any Ricoh ownership would be via a third party. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/news-opinion/could-ricoh-arena-sold-coventry-6191587 "Otium accept that a separate property company would own the Ricoh – saying it is common practice."

How long do we wait to form a breakaway club?

But from our point of view we only deal with the business side of her. We are her customers. The fact she might be a nice family woman is irrelevant. The truth is in the business world she is a hard nosed bitch.

What would it take to fill Sixfields?

Are you seriously saying that the club paying £1.3m in rent, but getting crowds of 22k is worse than paying £150k in rent but getting crowds of under 2k?

What would it take to fill Sixfields?

The fact the club is now financially worse off than when renting the Ricoh indicates to me that the rent row was all a smokescreen anyway.
