I can't explain why but I just have this feeling that we are going to win 2-0 or 2-1. In reality I would be happy with a draw, which would help to continue our little unbeaten run. Let us hope that, whatever happens, we continue to see signs that we really have turned the corner.

I agree with your points. I think Haji looks awkward because, rather like Peter Crouch, he is tall and gangly. He offers us something different to the other strikers and to date his goals tally is decent. In my opinion our best front three are HW on the left, Simms in the middle and Tats on the...

We shaded this on performance, so I reckon 1-0 was about right. Things are starting to look up and at this rate Wright could well get 15+ goals for the season.

Calm finish by Haji Wright. One of those that he sometimes snatches at but that was good. We have to see this one out.

The creative forward passing is decent tonight.

Match Thread Millwall FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 25th Nov

I think the Millwall game will be a low scoring draw, either 0-0 or 1-1, which of course means it could be decided either way by a single goal. Hope it's us who comes out on top. I haven't given up hope on Simms or Wright. Let's see who we can get in to strengthen the midfield in January and...

    Retirement

I'm nearly 69 and hoping to retire when I am 70. I don't enjoy my job but being self-employed I have no pension other than what I have been able to save for myself.

    Recruitment has been shocking

I like Sakamoto. He may or may not turn out to be a regular starter for us but he does bring something different to the team. At the very least a good option to have from the bench when you need to change things, although I think he may yet start a number of games.

The only change I would make to that is to give Collins his chance. We have supposedly bought him to keep Wilson on his toes and after a few gaffes by Wilson recently the time has arrived to see if Collins can do any better.

That’s what it looked like to me : Fatz tried to foul him but failed!

It will be interesting to see if we can get the best out of Haji Wright when Callum O'Hare is back and hopefully providing him with some better service.

    Ronnie Rees RIP

Sad news indeed. He was a very fine player. We had a good team with him on one wing and Willie Humphries on the other. RIP Ronnie

    Milan van Ewijk Appreciation Thread

It would be nice to see him taking more free kicks and long throw-ins. Long throw-ins may be a fairly blunt and unsophisticated weapon but over the years a number of teams have used them to their advantage. As things stand at the moment I'm happy to get a goal any way we can.

There were a lot of debts secured by charges over the club's assets which were paid off on 11th January when King took over. It's all recorded in the club's filing history at Companies House.
