    12,000 Seater stadium - Anybody happy ?

Ok, so your limiting the amount of fans that come through. Tell me, how do you think Norwich went from getting crowds of 14k in the late 90's to 23k ten years later? Free tickets for kids etc? No club outside the top of the prem can exclude its fan base in such a way and expect a future. It...

    12,000 Seater stadium - Anybody happy ?

Just looked it up and over the past 94 years (when CCFC joined the Football League) and out of that only in 12 seasons was the average low enough to fit into a 12k stadium.

Not sure why they don't take that attitude now to be honest and put the price up. The 1500 or so that go to sixfields would go anyway. The reason the rest of us won't go has nothing to do with the price.

Sisu have their arses slapped again

I think he's president of the Kavanagh QC fan club.

    Tomorrow's crowd

Nice, quiet, relaxing day out for you. We all need time away from the hustle and bustle every now and then.

    12,000 Seater stadium - Anybody happy ?

I just find it ironic how some claim the Ricoh is too far out but Ryton or Brandon isn't. (Not saying that you personally are doing that)

    12,000 Seater stadium - Anybody happy ?

I agree its probably all nonsense, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he's using it as leverage against the council. A stadium within a mile of the city boundary will still bring in economic benefits to the city, 8 miles away the benefits will be almost zero. Also I'm not talking about...

    Timings of the talks

If fairness both/either of them may have prior engagements.

    12,000 Seater stadium - Anybody happy ?

It doesn't say it will be 8 miles either. What it does say is it could be 9. Don't you think its wise to consider the worst case scenario? Or let me put it another way, if its 9 miles out of Cov then for me (and a large part of our support) its a relocation. That being the case, do you not...

    Tomorrow's crowd

Yeah tomorrow would have been one of the ones Fisher was expecting 7k for. Whatever we get tomorrow is about the most we will ever get in Northampton.

According to Kingharvest it was Fisher who made that up.

    12,000 Seater stadium - Anybody happy ?

Surely something is either in the city or it isn't? The city of Coventry paid for its construction, I would say that made it a community asset.

Team and fans not politics and hedge fund profits

Its not simply a question of forcing them to do something it doesn't want to. There are two other factors here: For me personally, I would find it morally wrong to watch CCFC play in Northampton regardless of who owned us. Also, there is the argument then of, if sisu are determined to do...

Sisu have their arses slapped again

Surely as long as the repayments are being made there is no argument about it being "in the public interest"?

    12,000 Seater stadium - Anybody happy ?

Its already started creeping up. Started off as being 3 miles from the city centre (I remember Fisher saying the new site was as close as the Ricoh to town), then it become 6 miles, now 8 or possibly 9 miles. Its not inconceivable for it to go higher. 9 miles (as the crow flies) out...

    12,000 Seater stadium - Anybody happy ?

12k will probably be the smallest stadium the club has ever had. Just shows the level of ambition on offer.

Sisu have their arses slapped again

Why was the QC for sisu talking about the clubs drop in income following relegation? I fail to see what that has to do with the case at all.

    Official joy responds...

Hopefully when they meet they actually get on. Never underestimate the power of a decent working relationship. When taking this into consideration its not difficult to see how Fisher never got anywhere.

Les Reid ...... High Horses ..... and Twitter!

I think its quite funny. I never really liked his style even before all this kicked off anyway. His articles always (whatever the subject) seemed to have an agenda.

    SCG Meeting Notes - 30.10.13

First the stadium was within 3 miles of the city centre, then 6, then 8 possibly 9! If its 9 miles away they might as well stay in Northampton.
