On the wing he was more involved and for his goal he was actually put through against the keeper. He is a player that needs to be involved. His movement waiting for deflections was good (likewise with Godden to be fair). Tonight I’d have said Godden played quite well, first time he got some...

The second goal was a deflection. He had it covered had it not hit Thomas and changed direction. Definitely not at fault.

We needed to rest players and those changes were not why we struggled. We could’ve been 2-0 up.

Overall, we played quite well in the first half and had Godden put us 1-0 up, it’s probable we stay on the front foot. Ironically, it was when we brought on our starters that we looked more vulnerable. Palmer isn’t on that same level as COH and in my view, he’s a role player if his final third...

Plymouth have lost 3 games at home this season and drew 3. Winning here was always a tough ask and we’ve missed 2 v clear cut chances and conceded 2 sloppy goals. You reap what you sow. As I wrote this, we scored and got the draw so everyone can stop pissing the bed.

To be fair, the replays show a bad deflection off Thomas. At first viewing I thought Collins was at fault.

Exactly, and if we refer back to the ‘do we miss Hamer?’ Thread we’ll see plenty of people saying ‘no’.

Talks about lacking up front then proceeds to mention our defence conceding soft goals… Today we’ve created more clear chances than most games. Let’s be honest, if we conceded as many soft goals as we do now last season, we wouldn’t have made the playoffs.

Was that xG for Simms’ chance? It definitely was not a clear cut opportunity. If Gooden/Bidwell was onside, that’s a bad bad miss. Next time he moans about game time all Robins has to do is show him that replay.

    Bidwell was offside I think?

The only positive thing about Godden’s miss was that it was offside…

I actually prefer Thomas and he’s matured very well as the season has progressed. 3 quality options at CB and as for Lats, more a RCB (in a 3) or fullback to my mind.

No real surprises with the results tonight so nothing changes tomorrow. We’re not reliant on other teams dropping points as of yet and a draw takes us back into the top 6. Tomorrow is not a must-win game, that’s silly talk. We play WBA, Hull, PNE and Watford - these are must-not-lose games.

3 draws would do very nicely. WBA will likely beat Cardiff but a surprise here would lead into our fixture very nicely. We’ve lost one game at home too. We’ve drew a lot, but we’ve turned over Leicester and drew to Southampton. So we are more than capable to get results against Leeds, Hull and...

    Wright - Simms - Sakamoto

There is no doubt he has improved us, but we were performing well before he came into the side. Bearing in mind COH has 2 assists and 7 goals, I think COH has probably benefitted from the players around him rather than the other way round. That’s taking nothing away from COH, he’s added level...

    Mad fact from facebook

Good experience for Robins and his team. Players like COH and Sheaf would have started had they been fit. There’s a good 6-7+ players in the squad that were part of the team last year. There’s a psychological element to it too, the players who joined know this is a club who were a penalty...

    Transfer Rumour Haji Wright

You wouldn’t sell him for anything less than £20m in today’s market. The championship is proving a reliable league in producing players capable of scoring in the Prem. Toney, Mitrovic, Watkins, Gyokeres and more have demonstrated this.

    Transfer Rumour Haji Wright

Gyokeres first full season was 17 goals and 5 assists. Wright is on course to beat that and I must say Gyokeres was impressive that year.

    Jude bellingham

Wasn’t Southgate one of the first managers play Bellingham CAM? Same with Trent, Klopp even called him out do it to then create this hybrid role for him… funny that.

    Bradley collins

Thankfully, you don’t make any decisions because the stats don’t lie. Highest save % and 4th highest in xG against him paints a picture of a reliable keeper.
