    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Indeed, but the rest of the world is likely to suffer from this as it already is to an extent with supply issues. Maybe globalisation isn't all it's cracked up to be.

    Panorama - post office scandal

It's been discussed in the Private Eye for years and years but I've never seen it mentioned in any newspaper. It's a disgrace and those wrongly convicted should be greatly compensated.

    Transfer Shouts

I'm glad we never signed him, he did help us this season mind missing that sitter at the CBS in the Cardiff home game

    Coventry U23 v Cardiff Monday 25th april 1 pm

It must be pretty difficult to impress in a trial like that. Does Robins watch the trialists?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Austerity is entirely incompatible with a vibrant economy, where the fuck do these people think money originates from? It doesn't come out of thin air from we entrepreneurs

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Do these people not realise how ridiculous they are with this scorched earth rubbish? They will be monstered by the media in the next election, they're currently pulling sufficient rope from the reel to hang themselves

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I didn't vote for them in the first place. The choice in 2019 was between Labour and all the chaos that has unfolded. But the current shadow cabinet seems quite content with the election of the Tories in 2019, so, i'm sorry but I am not now voting to remove them cos people like Rachel Reeves...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I see Rachel weird Kier Starmer voice Reeves has insulted 10m people that voted Labour in 2019 by saying she's glad they didn't win. As remarked earlier in this thread, I live in a very very tight marginal but Labour in current guise can absolutely get to fuck if they think they're getting my...

    Everton away next season

The Hill-Wood family bankrolled Arsenal in those days, they switched allegiance from Glossop North End just before WW1. GNE having been the smallest town to ever have a top flight football team!

    Government white paper

I know the way this will go. Fans Trust has say in club, club goes bust, government says "Not our problem, you got what you wanted".

    Government white paper

It's interesting really, presumably you'd expect persons on a Trust board to go through their own fit and proper test if they are to have a say in the running of a club

    Everton away next season

I had a think about this recently. Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool are still there obviously. Chelsea have just got to 34 this year I think (sure they last got promoted in 1988). Spurs on 40+. United on 48. Other than that you're looking at a lot of teams that are <10.
