    Ghost of New Years Past

Yep, agree about the history and the proximity to housing and the people of the city. That always gave things a bit more buzz than concrete undepasses and empty waste ground.

There is a freehold, a sharehold and a leasehold. Unfortunately Sisu have us in a stranglehold.

weather - will it def be on

They're tough up North. A bit of light drizzle there would be consider a torrential downpour here in the Midlands.

Can't you just put that statement onto some kind of loop and just keep playing it every day for eternity?

    Ghost of New Years Past

Personally, I don't miss Highfield Road one little bit and I had been going up there from the late 60's til its demise. I think the Ricoh is so much better and I find I don't reminisce much at all about HR cos it changed so many times in all the years I was watching (Spion Kop to all seater, to...

Don't tell Sisu there is an empty stadium going, they'll move us up there!

    Post of the year 2013

Over the past few seasons that could be one of several players, so anonymous some of them have been.

I desperately want to see the City play. My daughter would absolutely love to go to, but we won't set foot in Sixfields. The Sky Blues have been the love of my life for all my life, but I cannot bring myself to go and if the club stay away from Coventry for any length of time then they will...

The most devisive thing in this whole sorry mess is our owners taking the club some 34 miles away from our home. As a result we now have division and in-fighting amongst supporters, despair and 90% of City fans no longer watching their team at its home ground.

You can't keep arranging marches though. These sorts of things are one offs. I personally saw no problem at all with the Ricoh charity game. A clear statement had to be made that fans wanted the club in Coventry. It wasn't an anti-Sisu or pro-ACL thing, but you were always going to get some...

So, if I sum up ..... Going on the hill and protesting is divisive. Going into the ground and protesting is divisive and meeting up at the Ricoh on match days and protesting is divisive! And then to top it all off people then say if we don't all do any of those things that we are just sitting...

Happy to get involved. People don't even need to be there all day. Just turn up for kick off and stay an hour or so. Whatever people can spare. Could get speakers from the SBT or KCIC to say a few things too. Get people to bring their portable barbecues or whatever and just turn up and have a...

Not sure. There seemed to be a lot of support of such an idea on here when it was mooted. Perhaps we should kick start the idea again. I think if more turned up at the Ricoh every home game than did at Sixfields it would show that the support for the club is still there, but that we simply...

Same here Nick. I feel my club has been taken away from me, so the only way I would get to see the City is if I went to away games, but that is simply not possible.

I fear if the club did get wound up then a lot of fingers would be pointing at all those who didn't go to Sixfields in terms of who was to blame.
