I agree 👍 I don't get why some dislike Allen. He's a very sound player who gives his all every game. Robins seems to like him as well and I trust his judgement.

Indeed! Think of the difference between: "He will start, Wright not fit enough yet"; and "He will start Wright, not fit enough yet". In the first one EMC starts, in the second it's Wright. 🙂

I think I may have misread your post. I read it as “He will start Wright” the “not fit enough yet” bit referring to EMC. On reflection I think you meant “He (meaning EMC) will start” with the “not fit enough yet” bit referring to Wright. Tricky chaps words! 😊

I thought there was still a slight doubt about Wright being fully fit but I’m delighted if he starts. Wright for 60 minutes and then EMC for 30 has me salivating 😊

Allen and Eccles for me. But I like Torp and don’t have a problem if he starts. I’m really looking forward to seeing Rudoni and EMC in their first competitive matches for us. I’m not sure if EMC will start but if not I hope Robins gives him 30 minutes, as he will be great against a tiring defence.

It pains me to say it but I agree. I think they will get one of the automatic spots, probably second. ☹️

That won’t be far out, although I think Allen will start instead of Torp and will captain the side. My main concern is your suggested formation. Either we are going to play facing our own goal or it’s a 3-2-4-1 formation with Simms in goal and Dovin as the lone striker.

Exactly my thoughts. He needs to be playing in order to reach the level that I think he is capable of.
