We won the second leg 4-1 so not sure if really matters that much, we were the better team in the first leg anyway.

    The Jones Enigma

Jones was a standout player though unlike those two, you could see he had something about him and still can to an extent. £2m is more than they paid for some of the players in their current PL team.

    Who would we like

For teams joining coming down from the PL I'm hoping it's Leeds: 1. They've got some star assets they're likely to lose who are pivotal whereas Burnley do not really 2. Their late season form must be totally demoralising 3. Financial position unclear, made a £63m loss!! (120% of turnover) in...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It does because the 'borrowing' is just a pretty safe and steady private sector investment in things like pensions, a good thing.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It tells somebody at its own bank to strike a few keys and credits the treasury accounts. It uses taxation to manage inflation and to encourage use of the currency and therefore uphold its value. It does not rely on taxation for spending per se. It's a myth that has basically driven us to the...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Taxation wouldn't exist without government spending in the first place, so no they do not need to raise any money through taxation. Think about it.

    The Jones Enigma

The writing was clearly on the wall for Jodi. From my (non-expert) point of view I think he's looked good in his cameos last season. Best of luck to him as I think he deserves a decent career after coming through the injury hell he has been.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Of course it isn't true. How on earth would any government actually be able to pay for day to day spending? There is no current account, tax just removes money from the private sector. It doesn't get shuffled around from HMRC to the treasury to departments. Each £ spent by the government is just...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Lol ok David, I'm talking about what her words look like to ordinary people and they imply heavily that taxes fund spending. Where you are a sovereign currency issuer: Times are not tight, are they? Taxpayers aren't paying for anything, are they?

    Maatsan

Liverpool didn't qualify for the CL that year as it was still only the top 2 at that point. Hartson did though so I reckon he might be the last one, a genuine sale of a player to a CL qualifier

Tell Rachel Reeves that as she appears to be more closely aligned to the orthodoxy behind what Johnson has said https://labour.org.uk/press/rachel-reeves-responds-to-the-budget/ Far too much time spent talking about taxes paying for spending, another dead end street these galaxy brains are...
