I think we're pretty well covered at centre mid at the moment, saying that I wouldn't mind him as a back up but not at the expense of signing a goalkeeper and another attacking midfielder.

Top professional, he's a very clever. He knows he's not as big as some of the centre backs but uses his body and experience very well to protect the ball, giving them the odd nudge here and there to knock the defender off balance without doing too much to give away a foul.

Burton had two very good wingers and concentrated there attacks down the flanks, they gave Ricketts and Stokes problems but both acquitted themselves very well defensively.

Even if you don't attempt to play the ball, he's still off if he's deemed to be obstructing an opponent. I still think there was a fair case to say the Walsall player was obstructing Burge that day.

Yea like Hunt and Bradshaw did, the problems come when he doesn't win the ball. Mostly he did today so no harm done but like you say he doesn't always need to. Needs to be controlled aggression like it was today rather than reckless aggression like it has been at times this season.
