I'll take your word for it. I'm certainly no expert in these things. Just think it is the wrong direction to go personally but if others think it is right I will support it, albeit from afar.
If its come to the Ricoh to listen to the radio on a Friday night I'm out. Just not logistically possible with where I live. Suspect it would end up with a few hundred there.
Plus home games are likely to be moved due to clashes so would end up having to stage a radio listen in on a Friday night.
I could see a charity protest match with CCFC old boys coming close to filling the ground with the right publicity.
No. I think it would have to be agreed by the club. Same reason I can't listen to Coventry games for free in Yorkshire.
Plus, not sure people would turn up in numbers for something they could do at home.
Exactly, and the way to do it would be to have a football match. CCFC would have to agree to a public broadcast of the game so that won't happen. We need to put on a charity match.
I'm not normally for liquidation but it would maybe be the quickest and cleanest way out this situation. Reform 2 steps lower at conference level (although I seem to remember that rule had been changed and there may be a minimum level to reform).
10th August not far away so need to get cracking on arranging this. Anyone have any contacts for ACL? Does PWKH still come on here occasionally? Not seen him in a while.
If I was ACL I wouldn't agree to that CVA. Bearing in mind they will be missing out on 40 years of £1.2 million a year (£48 million) plus the years rent already owed the half a million offered just wouldn't cut it for me.
Fantastic idea. Sure we could get ACL and the former players association (unless they are tied to the club - if so, may need to find ex players outside the FPA) on board. Maybe charge £5 to £10 with profits after ACLs costs and kit costs going to charity.
Don't we have a supporters team...
