They have said that they have had discussions with various councils, that's what an FOI request would be to find out. Had they applied for planning permission then it would already be public knowledge as that cannot be done in secret.

Instead of grew up here or born here you could simply have from here? Asking someone where their from normally results in an answer of where they identify as home, rather than where they were born or currently live.

I wouldn't go. They've made no attempt to return to the city, and even if they did the council couldn't stop them. For that its a no.

It doesn't have to be at FL/FA offices though does it? Surely its about publicity, and there are plenty of places in London where our message can be heard.

Think some are overestimating the amount the club will receive from this. 60k tickets at an average price of £30 is £1.8m. 45% of that is £810k. Then there are costs to deduct. Decent pay day but certainly not the £1m+ figures being thrown about here.
