I would normally stick up for Godden if he’d done something, but agree he might as well not be on the pitch tonight, and Eccles is struggling massively without Sheaf. I thought Palmer had a decent half but final ball isn’t the best at times, although to be fair to him if Godden hadn’t stopped...

Agreed - and assume that’s also why they’re both primed and ready together from the bench, maybe 15/20 mins into the 2nd half if Palmer and Godden don’t work out I’d personally prefer Wright starting and Palmer coming on as an impact super-sub, but guess that might be more when Haji is up to...
