Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Reads like a few independent investors (probably Wasps fans) who didn’t understand what they were getting into. The fact that they’re trying to crowdfund their legal challenge doesn’t ring like they’re experienced investors with client lawyers in tow. I would suggest that experienced investors...

Assume he means the Times, as in the newspaper given he also mentions the Mail.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

How would the council ever expect it back? Wasps on crowds of 4K and ACL barely making a profit doesn’t ring that this would be a serviceable debt, before you even factor in the other debt, £116m being touted around as total debt. It’s Truss economics. They’d either lose the lot or just continue...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

They’d be stupid not to take it. Then again they still seem to be clinging onto the lease being worth £50m so anything is possible.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Nope. They essentially could have purchased it at the point Wasps did for that and clear the majority of the council loan that was sitting on ACL’s book at the time. They wasn’t interested. They didn’t want to pay anymore than Wasps did but with the CCC debt written off IIRC. Unencubered was the...

So it will be Thursday 17th then, maybe as late as Friday. But definitely not Wednesday 16th.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

The bidding war by the sounds of it was the pre-pack admin, between MA and NEC. Any genuine bidders would have come forward then.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It’s not just them. Other political parties are afraid to bring it up. I’ve got a feeling that we aren’t going to have the grown up conversation required about Brexit until after the next GE. In the meantime it keeps doing damage on a daily basis.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I’ll be honest, I don’t have a lot of sympathy for the bond holders. It’s like taking a bookies to court because your horse didn’t come in.

    Vanessa Paradis

Given the circumstances you’d have to say he’s our best ever. The only managers we’ve had that have achieved more did it with a very different backdrop.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Queens Park Rangers Match Thread - Saturday 12th Nov

Surprised you’re still on here. We won. You normally disappear when we’re winning, only happy when we’re losing. Well done to Robins, breaking the records again. Great manager who we’re lucky to have, I’m sure you’ll agree.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Queens Park Rangers Match Thread - Saturday 12th Nov

Haven’t conceded in 6 hours of football and apparently the first time we’ve won 4 in a row in the championship. The records keep coming. All hail Robins.

I really don’t know what it’s got to do with you or why you take such an interest in what I do or don’t comment on. What I find weird is that it’s keeping you awake at night.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Can’t help but feel that SG releasing the story that Labour councillors were having a behind closed doors meeting regarding Wasps, the threat of a protest outside, heat on social media and people writing immediately to their councillors was enough to put enough Labour councillors off backing a...
