    The bigger picture...

The opening post sums up my thoughts on the matter. Seriously, what did people expect? AT is a rookie manager....yet people seem baffled that he makes (gasp) rookie mistakes? So would any of us if we were given the job, regardless of how many hours had been logged on Football Manager for the...

This would be the greatest escape EVER!

Yep, 6 minutes from time. Never has HR gone as bat-shat crazy as the moment when that goal went in. Here you go lads: City vs Luton: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAPKP7bHsGw City vs Everton: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQRS6LMHIvw&feature=endscreen&NR=1

This would be the greatest escape EVER!

Must be have been hell for Norwich fans that season. "Ha Ha! Cov are doomed and they can't cat....oh, they've won 1. No worries, we're still safe...shat, they've won 2. But Everton will surely whip them......NOOOOOOOO!" :p I think Everton had played something like 45,332 games by the time we...

This would be the greatest escape EVER!

I'm sure that was at HR, I even remember seeing a coach of CCFC fans from Nuneaton outside the ground that night and the Central TV coverage the next evening. And we beat Everton 4-1.

    Sack thorn?

In our case, the 'honeymoon' effect needs to last for 20+ games. When it ends, add on 12 to 18 months and we'll be hunting for yet another manager.

We are as good as relegated now..

Look at the result of SISU's cost cutting on a Championship budget. You think were gonna do better on a League 1 budget? Were gonna lose the best part of £2 million alone just on reduced TV money. We won't have money to rebuild.....unless it involves a pack of Lego bricks purchased on eBay.

    Sack thorn?

That's one definition of 'struggling', isn't it? :(

This would be the greatest escape EVER!

Not sure, but I'm sure that under MA, we ended that season at Watford and there was a big thing about "can City win away from home even once this season?" Answer? Nope.

This would be the greatest escape EVER!

I'm sure there was a season under MA when we didn't win away, only team in the league without an away win that season I think.

This would be the greatest escape EVER!

I remember when we had to win our final 3 games to stay up. Won at Stoke, beat Luton at HR with a late goal (lost my voice for a few hours after Killer's goal went in), and then whipped Champions Everton at HR on a glorious Sunday. We stayed up, and Norwich went down. That escape will be...

This would be the greatest escape EVER!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16123582.stm 8 points from safety. 6 behind Donny. Lowest number of wins and points in the entire Football League. Only team in the league yet to win away from home. We're gonna need the Ark of the Covenant to get out of this one. Even if we found it...

We are as good as relegated now..

Sack Thorn. Then what? He's on a rolling 12 month contract which will need to be pay off (along with other sacked managers were still paying off, were still paying off AB aren't we?) Then we need to get a new manager in, all on a future League 1 budget. Can't see that happening with our...

Oh FFS! ENOUGH about our 'bad luck'!!!

AT: We were unlucky. Hussey: We were unlucky. Guys, we're bottom of the flipping table and have only won 2 from 20+ !!! We've been unlucky for almost half the season have we??! The table doesn't lie!

So, you get offered the job of Head Chef...

...by new owners at an established restaurant, lets call it TastyFood. The owners say they will support you and give you the same budget as the previous Head Chef, who was sacked. Then, 11 of the Chef's working under you leave, due to contracts ending and better employment offers from...

CCFC: The Walking Dead of the Championship

The zombies on The Walking Dead move with greater purpose compared to our club right now, and they've probably got more pace then our squad. Only our desperate need for flesh-I mean, points and better days, keeps us going, keeps us hoping. We're lurching along, not in full control of ourselves...
