The BBC are indicating that the new notice of intention for for the arena is to allow the council to step in and keep the CBS operational.

I wonder if the team has gone but the arena has tangible assets so there’s still hope of a bailout of some sorts.

The transfer of ownership of the training ground is dodgy as… looks like asset stripping ahead of liquidation which as far as I understand is highly illegal. Unless of course full market value was paid in exchange.

Mercifully for the UK (in one sense) the markets seem settled this morning. Looks like Hunt has calmed the nerves enough until at least he makes his statement in the commons this afternoon. Unfortunately (for the UK) that means Truss has probably been bought some time.
