    The Ricoh

A ground is only as good as the results at it. 1st season at CV6, we were almost unbeatable. 23,000 almost every home game. If our away form was half decent we would have made the play-offs. Since then.... :(

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18643087 Aldershot Town defender Ben Herd says he turned down an offer from a League One side to re-sign for the club. He agreed a new one-year contract with the Shots earlier this week. The 27-year-old told BBC...

    Another one being chased

We will resist any offers with our last ounce of strength. Our life, our blood, will be laid on the line and.....oh fook it, he's going for a packet of crisps isn't he?

I'm going to withhold my Council Tax for 3 months

When I get the red letters, I'll just say "well, it worked for SISU, right? And they owe you and your ACL minions a damn sight more than I do!"

Sky & BT win Premier League TV rights

She won, but pubs can still get done if they shown any EPL game which features the EPL logo on screen.....which all of them do. In theory, if you covered up that part of the screen with black tape, then legally you'll be Ok. :)

Sky & BT win Premier League TV rights

I wouldn't want to be a Sky employee when that happens. That whole business is built on EPL football and the customers willing to pay insane amounts every year to watch it.

Sky & BT win Premier League TV rights

Sky - £6.55m per game BT - £6.47m per game :thinking about: Sky have actually paid 28% more than the last deal for a worse selection of games.

Sky & BT win Premier League TV rights

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18430036 That's shat news for ESPN, and Virgin Media. Potentially great news for BT Vision/Broadband customers who will probably get EPL footy at a reduced price. Significantly, BT won Package A (Saturday 12.45 kickoffs) which has over 20 1st pick games, to...

    Poland v russia

A great game, to be fair all the games so far have been at least decent. No goaless draws so far. Watching Poland pouring forward at pace to attack was great to see. Russia were pretty good too.

    France vs England

We've drawn against a team who are now 22 games unbeaten. I'm happy with a point.

    Virgin Media Superhub

To get the best out of the hub (which is crap at wireless), you may consider switching it to modem-only mode and attaching your old wireless router to it. As for speed, I'm on 60Mb but most of the time I get half that. Loads of complaints about this on the official VM Forums and Cable Forum...
