Match Thread Coventry City - Southampton Match Thread - Saturday 14th Mar

They were lethargic midweek according to their fans after their cup win on Sunday, I hope they do press aggressively as we should be able to pick them off second half

    Potential open top bus celebration

If it starts in Weymouth we can pick you up on the way. I'll bring the ciders.

    10 more wins does it

I just don't see how 2 out of the 3 chasers get to 90. They have all those head to heads for one so points will be dropped. Ipswich's April fixtures look hideous. Millwall have to go to both them and Middlesbrough. Middlesbrough themselves have just failed to beat Charlton, Leicester and...

Match Thread Coventry City - Southampton Match Thread - Saturday 14th Mar

Obviously it will be tough as they are in good nick but those points came against QPR, Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton, West Brom, Leicester and Watford. I'm not sure there could be a much easier run of opponents than that.

    Potential open top bus celebration

    9. And most bookies aren't even taking odds on us to go up anymore. Just accept it's happening and embrace it, mate.

Is the club ready for the premiership?

Is it called the Premier League or Premiership, I genuinely have no idea?

    CWR… Shite

If I ever tune into a game and Fox or Bennett are on again I'm turning straight over to the opposition commentary.

    Premier League Thread 26/27

Finish above Millwall and Middlesbrough and one of West Ham, Leed and Nottingham Forest. Kick on in 27/28.

    For any remaining non-believers

Maybe I'm just getting giddy but I genuinely think 10 points secures promotion. Ipswich's schedule in April looks horrendous and Millwall obviously have to go to Middlesbrough and Ipswich. Relegation form from the last 9 games to secure promotion to the PL after 25 years. Mind-blowing.

    For any remaining non-believers

In their last 6 Southampton have picked up 2 one goal wins and 2 draws against struggling Leicester, Watford, Charlton and West Brom. They'll be happy with a point, I won't.

Implied probability of 1/14 is 93.3%? Feels a touch low at this point.

That's a huge outlier. Most places that are still offering are giving 1/500. Loads aren't offering anything at all now.

Just imagine how good we'd be if we were the best team in the league

And a winger and a midfielder on 7 each.

Final one of these because frankly the job is done. You can't even get odds on us getting promoted from most bookies now. Just revel in its beauty. PUSB.

    10 more wins does it

I genuinely think we now need 10 points to win the league. From 9 games. 🤯

Match Thread Coventry City - Preston North End FC Match Thread - Wednesday 11th Mar

I'm not convinced we've opened as much of block 9 as we do when it's looking like it will sell-out so that's probably another 150. So maybe 500 away from a home sell-out. So if Preston have sold 1K we could still be looking at 30K. Incredible again.

Of course. And its the Championship, most games are settled by the odd goal etc. However, we are massive odds on favourites to win and rightly so.
