    William Storey

The "powers that be" won't install him as owner even if he thinks he's got a good claim of a breach of an exclusivity agreement.

    Things that annoy you

Yeah I went to the bar and asked for a pint, it wasn't table service. By all means happy to offer a drink on me voluntarily but hate it being asked.

    Things that annoy you

Having a quick pint in a pub in my Manchester city centre. Pint cost £5.30. The machine they offered to pay with card gave me a pre selected list of tips I could offer. There is a 'Tap to Tip' machine that offers tips to go "directly to the team". What was the former? And why am I feeling...

What does that even mean? It's not a real word is it?

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

It's registered as a northern Irish company: VAEA FIFITA RUGBY ACADEMY LIMITED filing history - Find and update company information - GOV.UK Created 28 June 2021. His signing with Wasps announced on 30 June 2021. It obviously isn't an academy, I have limited sympathy with him if he's not been...

    NHS and ambulance waiting times

That's what they have been doing, hence the creation of 111, walk in centres, urgent care centres, urgent treatment centres etc. It all is pointless as ultimately it isn't addressing the underlying capacity issues in acute, primary and adult social care. There are significantly less GPs now...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Yes https://www.healthcareers.nhs.uk/working-health/working-nhs/nhs-pay-and-benefits/agenda-change-pay-rates/agenda-change-pay-rates Paramedics start at Band 5 (£27k) and move up to Band 6 with experience, a paramedic with 5> years of experience would reach £40k salary By the way, worth...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I doubt it as 40k is Band 7 AfC, most paramedics are Band 5 and Band 6 (similar to nurses). Not that the base salary is even particularly relevant to the desire to keep pace with the cost of living.

    NHS and ambulance waiting times

They're smaller as they have much much narrower remits, a private health provider subcontracting elective work has no other obligations other than the work it is contracted to do. It's unlike the NHS which has an obligation to anybody that is brought through the door.

Todd Kane - a simpler explanation?

The other explanation could be that he's just not rated and his recent cameos don't counter that

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I work for a quasi private entity and we basically do consultancy work that your average Trust or CCG/ICB should have the capacity to do but do not because: 1. Trust staff are too busy on the day to day firefighting as they're massively under resourced 2. When CCGs (now ICB) were created by...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Thread here explaining similar things to what I've tried to do re NHS management. Wrongly though tries to ignore that management costs

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

It's not a police matter, it's a civil matter like Grendel has said. The administrators will report if there is evidence of trading whilst insolvent, no need for the police to be involved, the administrators are agents of the court.

    William Storey

Is it looking any more likely than it did a few weeks ago? I don't think so. It's still ultimately only a known fantasist's words (without showing a shred of documentary evidence afaia) against no response from SISU.
