Match Thread Wrexham FA Cup match

Yeah I get his point completely and you're right, it's like us drawing Southampton away last season. It's a decent Premier League draw but if you're going to get knocked out preferable to be against the biggest team possible.

Video Arsenal youngster Brooke Norton-Cuffy joins the Sky Blues | Interview

Glad to not hear that brummie "Wilcome to Covontray" intro

    A signing! (Brooke Norton-Cuffy)

Yeah you can only think it's a loan with a view to a permanent. I like Dabo but he's out injured too often, he's lost a bit of explosiveness or maybe it's just confidence now too. That said it doesn't necessarily mean he's going.

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

Think it's been mentioned earlier in the thread but watching Happy Valley for the first time, decent. It's a part of the world I quite like.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

BBC news is on about Starmer hijacking "take back control" as being strange for a remain voting advocate of a second to referendum. He's going to have a real credibility battle in the next election in the face of the press (though then again he's busy coveting them so maybe not). His answers are...

    Prince Harry

I don't really care about him, let them get on with it. What an embarrassing country this is people worried about / news reports on royal family gossip, grow up FFS.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It all goes back years to target setting for apprenticeship volumes (Labour and the coalition did this), when I worked for the SFA, the measure of performance for colleges and training providers was how many learners they recruited. It leads to all sorts of dysfunctional behaviour and ultimately...

Labour majority of just under 2.5k in 2017 Tory majority of just under 5k in 2015 and 2010 Labour majority of 9k in 1997, the seat was retained in the next couple of elections but the majority was down to <800 by 2005.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

As I've posted here previously I live in a very tight marginal, just under 600 vote majority for Tories in 2019 How can something said today be responsible for the results of a poll taken last week?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I'm not bothered about slogans, I care about the substance. It does seem a bit of a silly slogan as he once again does a wanker sign to the silly centrist and FBPE types who coveted him.

    How's this justice?

Are they grooming gang apologists or public bodies covering their arses for not doing anything?

Where are the grooming gang apologists? I've never ever heard of them

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Good to see Labour really really trying their best to tell me not to vote for them. In a period where public services are collapsing due to austerity they're promising not to spend more money.

This takeover feels like a Greek tragedy. I don't want to tempt feta but can't see it ending well.

    WBA (Away)

Agreed, of all the alternative weekendish kick off times it's probably the best of the lot. Friday night games at the CBS have usually had a good atmosphere etc. Shame the Manchester train doesn't stop at Smethwick Rolfe St on the way down!

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

How can a government on the one hand blame inflation on things outside of their control and then make a commitment to reduce it by 50% What does 'grow our economy' really mean? Household incomes are a much more important metric and they do not necessarily follow growth in GDP. I wish...
