I would love us to play on & am confident we would cement our rightful place however I just can't see how it's feasible. Additional costs of £20-30,000 per week just for testing on top of all costs of putting games on with next to zero income - clubs simply can't afford it.

Wouldn't worry about it, zero chance of that method being used. Some teams had played another twice before they'd played others once anyway, complete non starter.

The Premier League already bleat constantly about having to play too many games, hence the sham 'winter break' and the issues it caused this season. Adding 3 more teams to their league will exacerbate it even further.

Exactly. I normally really like his attitude & speaks sense, including trying to assist with the Bury takeover etc but these last few weeks has really put me off him. Obviously he has to put his business first but trying to force his agenda just because it suits his clubs needs & screw...

He's under 24 so we'd get compensation regardless but it's a nonsense story as we have a year's option.
