No doubt this will upset a few, but it seems to me that Steve Waggott had a lot to do with this. I get the feeling he's a football friendly, common-sense guy despite being employed by SISU.

As fans, we have no rights. The club is owned by its owners (surprise!). They can do whatever they want, whoever they are. 'twas always so. If you pay to go to the cinema to watch a film, does that give you rights over the actors? If fans want rights, they have to buy the club.

Don't know if anybody remembered 1963-64 season when we won division 3 championship (league 1 now) between jan 11 1964 and 4th april '64 we played 14 matches and only won one. True, but before that we won 150% of games and were streets ahead by Xmas (thank goodness!)

The only CORRECT rent is what ACL can get. £400k is what they wouldlike, but the Ricoh is only worth what people will or can pay. An empty stadium is of no use to ACL.
