    Strong Claims about CCC/CET

No because its a family member. All I will say is a certain Telegraph reporter suggested someone in my family had done something wrong which had not a shred of truth to it. When you know someone you care about is completely innocent yet their name is being turned to mud because a jumped up...

    Strong Claims about CCC/CET

I cant stand the man. I have seen first hand ways in which its been suggested innocent people have done something wrong with a sensationalist headline (which the article then bares no resemblance to the headline).

    Strong Claims about CCC/CET

So in this instance, who hasn't allowed it?

    Strong Claims about CCC/CET

Not really, they didn't have freedom of the press in the USSR.

    Strong Claims about CCC/CET

What? So press freedom means a newspaper has to print everything? To me freedom means you have the choice to do something or not do something. If that is strange to you then I don't really know what to say.

    Strong Claims about CCC/CET

Presumably the Telegraph is free to print whatever it wishes? I was under the impression that we have press freedom in the UK and the Telegraph is under no obligation to print Reid's ranting's.

Our support was much higher than that in the late '90's. I'm afraid this "we were never supported well in the premiership" line is up there with "CCFC always had to win on the last day to stay up" in terms of mythology. Average CCFC attendances in the late 90's: 1995/96 18,907 1996/97 19,625...

Yep, all those clubs were in the exact same position as us.

From this website, its pretty good: http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/englandcontent.htm

Size of city doesn't always correlate. Leeds only get a bit more than what we were getting a few years ago, and the Leeds area has over twice the amount of people living in it compared to Coventry.

As recently as 15 years ago we were a much bigger club than Brum.

    Lowest crowd since 1962

Its just a shame that the club deserted us and broke that loyalty isn't it?

90% of the crowd will protest

Lack of desire to protest, acceptance of Wasps, and low attendances are all caused by just one party. And its those things that will kill the club. All parties may have done things wrong, but only one party is responsible.

90% of the crowd will protest

Whether you agree with protests or not, the fact that so many can no longer be arsed to protest about anything is a very worrying sign.

Ched Evans signing for a League One Club...

Most footballers aren't role models anyway. As I said before Gary Madine isn't exactly someone I would want my kids looking up to.

Ched Evans signing for a League One Club...

I take most of your points there, but I can't agree with you on McDonald I'm afraid. I don't agree that he did anything worse than most young lads on a night out. Also, regarding mob rule, I wasn't saying that members of the public shouldnt be allowed an opinion, just that I really disliked...
