That is how to look after fans

Where have I said I don't like this debate? I'm not sure where you have that idea from. How many people joined in their protest? Did they have a march? Just looked at that petition, and it has 2971 signatures. Hardly a resounding no. As for Coventry business, having Wasps here is obviously...

What was the WASPS crowd today

There is no real evidence that a large number of Wasps fans were against the move is there? There was no mass demonstrations? If most of them support it, who exactly are you to tell them what is the right thing to do with there club? The advice here is keep your nose out of other peoples...

Do Wasps pay rent to play at the Ricoh?
  4. bigfatronssba

What was the WASPS crowd today

No. The majority of them are trying to change and improve how the club is run.

I think their the same person to be honest.

What was the WASPS crowd today

Yep, lets hope CCFC do absolutely nothing in regard to securing a long term tenancy at the Ricoh. That will guarantee Wasps giving us the best possible deal.

What was the WASPS crowd today

You would stop supporting the club based on the actions of the owners?

That is how to look after fans

If your talking about individuals then yes I get your point. However I do think that you maybe using isolated examples where people have said something they don't really mean. For instance when I wrote that I was probably particularly angry that day and come out with something that wasn't truly...

That is how to look after fans

Fair enough, I did walk into that one! Whilst your trawling through my history you will note on plenty of occasions I have said that I understand why people went, I just thought they were wrong to do so.

What was the WASPS crowd today

So he only cares because it affects him? That's the point I'm making. Nothing wrong with that of course, but lets cut out all the crap about pretending to care about the fans of other clubs.

What was the WASPS crowd today

Yes I did mean Cov rugby.

What was the WASPS crowd today

Well obviously. When something is on your doorstep you are more likely to take notice of it. That isn't being hypocritical. What is being hypocritical is pretending to care about a group of supporters whom have been playing outside of their home town for the last 13 years, and not even saying...

What was the WASPS crowd today

Where have I mention Sixfields? He seems to be devastated at what has happened to the poor innocent Wasps fans and dear old Cov rugby. He didn't give a shit about what happened to their fans prior to Wasps moving to Coventry. Now that is being hypocritical.

That is how to look after fans

    Eh some of them did.

    Name names.

What was the WASPS crowd today

How am I being hypocritical exactly? Your the one who is now devastated on behalf of Wasps and Cov fans, when a year ago you couldn't give a shit about either.

That is how to look after fans

I think this is a question for the trust to ask. The hall will be empty anyway on matchday, so would acl let ccfc have it for cost price?

That is how to look after fans

If, as you suggest IEC were involved in the Wasps event, then it must make money (compass wouldn't subsidise Wasps). Therefore if ccfc went to IEC and said we will do something similar if we agree to share profits, why would they say no?

What was the WASPS crowd today

Or it proves that I don't want my team playing in Northampton?

That is how to look after fans

And in one post we get summed up exactly why some are against these ideas. Regardless of the benefits to ccfc, this might also help Wasps/acl, so screw the ccfc.
