    Boycott

If it makes you feel good & you harm nothing or noone...you go for it.

    Boycott

This kind of approach gets what kind of result? Israel/Palastine? Forgiving is good forgetting is bad, and working together for mutual benefit builds strong futures.

    Sky Blue Memories

Two special moments besides the obvious ones already covered. First - Leeds yobs in the West End who ran away to the gate to escape. As they waited it's opening they were giving a lot of mouth & gestures (because that's what shows you are "hard" apparently) at the SB fans there who largely...

If you won the euro millions

I'd bugger-off to somewhere like Barcelona & watch some decent football, get some rays & try to retire to more of a passive interest in CCFC lol

If you won the euro millions

I put myself in line for a tidy sum though didn't I? :-))

    Who's bothered

Take this seriously...I have a conspiracy theory on this. The main political parties WANT to have more influence on Policing strategy. That could well mean wealth & celebrity (I.e higher profile people/organisations) get more police time (not convinced this doesn't already happen to a degree)...

If you won the euro millions

I'll 2nd that. There are some posters who sadly reflect the foul side in society - and despite publicity about arrests connected to comments/behaviour on Twitter &/or similar...they have the attitude of believing a. It's fun b. they can get away with being abusive online without retribution

If you won the euro millions

I do hope those posting on this thread, suggesting investing any dosh in CCFC is a waste/bad investment, are not the same people slating SISU for not throwing more & more of their cash into the club.

If you won the euro millions

Calm down. The thread itself is based on fantasy...OSB winning the Euromillions is maybe less likely to become a reality than him being considered unfit or improper.

    Andy Thorn back....

No - sorry, AT is yesterday's man & is never mentioned on on this forum.

    Liquidation

On that - we agree. Maybe he thinks there's more to footy than the money though? Stays on a 3rd deal gets loads of goals & next season leads the charge to the Championship :-)) Knowing our luck - once there we find he can't score, N.Forest have a point & he's only really a L1 striker...& we...

Who is your most admired person in football?

Like the other thread...there are loads of unsung football heroes, in fact a lot more of these I suppose. Clough yes for what he achieved with a disciplined & respectful Notts Forest...although I feel he might have web a bit of a bully too. Sir Bobby Robson, Sir Bobby Charlton, Gary Lineaker for...

Who is your most hated figure in football

We all make mistakes. The violence & attitude that comes with him is what I hate - or maybe it's football's forgiving nature that I despise...or society itself for producing & making it more acceptable for "celebrity" with attitude/passion/ emotion/whatever to behave in a way that the rest of us...

    Liquidation

Still about balance. My point is that if you upset the balance of the pay too much...discontent can easily set in - not least with the no2 choice striker that doesn't get the chance to play often enough.

    Liquidation

I disagree. It's about balance. No good having a striker that scores 40 goals if your poorly paid, demotivated defence & keeper let in 50 goals (assuming that would = more lost games than won). Football is a team game. One suitably motivated player will be unlikely to get team success. As for...

    Liquidation

I'm saying that there should only be small differences in basic pay. Then there should be bonus payments for going beyond expectation. That's how most of us get rewarded. So a striker has a bonus for every goal scored. A goalkeeper is bonused for every shot on target stopped & other players...
