Take this seriously...I have a conspiracy theory on this. The main political parties WANT to have more influence on Policing strategy. That could well mean wealth & celebrity (I.e higher profile people/organisations) get more police time (not convinced this doesn't already happen to a degree)...

We all make mistakes. I disagree. It's about balance. No good having a striker that scores 40 goals if your poorly paid, demotivated defence & keeper let in 50 goals (assuming that would = more lost games than won). Football is a team game. One suitably motivated player will be unlikely to get team success. As for...

I'm saying that there should only be small differences in basic pay. Then there should be bonus payments for going beyond expectation. That's how most of us get rewarded. So a striker has a bonus for every goal scored. A goalkeeper is bonused for every shot on target stopped & other players...
