Bit of a player revolt ?

Hope that is the case and that Bell is fit "not to play".

The last offer put on the table to CCFC

Not if in dispute about the amount which is owed in the first place, keep topping it up to £500,000, ACL take it, top it up again, ACL take it. Do you think that ACL would have made whichever concessions they have done if they hadn't had to? The facts are that ACL have taken the money as...

The last offer put on the table to CCFC

But it has been used as security if a tenant defaults!

    ACL Statement, Saturday 23 March

They defaulted. ACL took the money. Served it's purpose.

They've been refusing to play at The Ricoh most of this season.

The last offer put on the table to CCFC

BSB seems to think that the escrow money is just floating about in the ether somewhere, not real money, but just a concept of money, like some sort of surrealist art installation at The R & A.

    ACL Statement, Saturday 23 March

It's also money that wasn't ACL's, which they now have.

The last offer put on the table to CCFC

Not if people are still going to throw around the house rental analogy as if it's valid in our scenario it isn't.

    ACL Statement, Saturday 23 March

ACL still have that money though, wherever it came from, ACL now have it as payment of rent arrears.

    ACL Statement, Saturday 23 March

That would mean that only £200,000 would have to go back into the scrow account, but they would still have the original £500,000 for the rent arrears wouldn't it?

    so ACL are distressing CCFC

Think that both ACL and the club need each other. ACL unviable without the club, the club needs somewhere to play. As long as somebody on either side can realise this we might get some sort of agreement, not so sure that will happen though.

    CCFC Statement

We're not talking just three home games though are we potentially? It goes back to those who say that ACL is viable without the club and those who think it isn't.

    CCFC Statement

Ah, a statement from ACL: "an open and transparent, above board, and decent business". A statement from the club: "A lying, cheating, blackmailing, underhand, thieving bunch of bastards".

    ACL Statement, Saturday 23 March

Would that be because they counted the escrow money they took then? Which you seemed to think didn't count?

    CCFC Statement

Ah, but if that customer directly led to you receiving more than that £1.3million in other sources, Compass deal, sponsorship, car-parking etc then you might think again. How much was the Compass deal in catering? Was it paid up front? If so, would they be demanding their money back without the...

    Irony - West Ham

So West Ham are contributing £5million more to the Stadium than Coventry City Council did for the construction of the Arena? Which they then received £21million in lease fees for immediately. Think I know who may have got the better deal there.
