    Is it not because Burnley is further to the east and to its east is semi rural yorkshire / lancashire border (Calder 'Happy' Valley is a bit of a hotbed of Burnley support), whereas Blackburn has Preston to the West and Burney / Nelson / Padiham / Accrington the its east.

    To back up the earlier point about the media, they were aware of this story for a long time before it was released to the wider public. It was arguably of far greater interest back then.

    Agreed, it's no real defence of course for members of the government that imposed them but they were in retrospect (and probably at the time) irrational.

    I fear Norwich the most because of our awful modern record against them and that I believe them to have a much better squad than their position. That said, defensively they were rocking in the game at the CBS and had we had McFadz fit perhaps the outcome would have been entirely different.

    Agree he's a lying wanker but it's yesterday's issue, he isn't the prime minister, isn't the leader and has no role in addressing the issues the country faces.
