There's a huge difference between awareness & knowledgable isn't there? Many of us on this forum have better awareness than the average Blackburn/Pompey/Leeds etc fan...but I doubt we can genuinely claim to be knowledgable in anything more than a passive sense.

There MUST be some motivation for saving something...for ACL it is likely that community interest & a revenue stream to tap into would be part of. They would then budget with those revenue streams in mind - they would therefore quite understandably want to hold on to those revenue streams. Hence...

Seems reasonable to me. If I own the stadium, I own the sponsorship rights...& get the sponsorship revenue. The give & take comes because Ricoh might well say their sponsorship of the stadium is dependent upon CCFC playing there. If they cease to be...or move out - the sponsorship deal is void.

But they will happily show games like Man Utd v QPR, followed by Chelsea v Wigan which would probably be home certs & almost but not quite over before a ball is kicked.

You have to bear in mind though that we also have yet to play: Bournemouth; Swindon; Brentford; Walsall; Doncaster Home form is the worrying factor (Swindon, Brentford, Doncaster) - I fear THAT is where we could miss out big-time.
