Back to the holiday camp attitude under Carsley and Oggy

Well said - my thoughts exactly re: Carsley. He lost a home game...some appear to be making Oggy the scapegoat. The thing is this season we've now lost at home under 4 different management teams. Are they ALL inept..? Or is something else impacting?

    next week!!!!

Still sounds like tosh to me. The club has in more recent times become very good at keeping things under-wraps until very near to the "official statement". The loose tongues have been largely cut out. Cannot imagine one of the medical team talking about such stuff...they are perhaps somewhere...

I know only his name...nothing about him so can't comment on that.

    John mutton

You don't like the look of him? He smells so bad you get his scent? He sits so near he's on your lap? I know nothing about him Myself. What are you basing your judgement of him on?

Is it time to seriously consider leaving the RICOH?

The match finished nearly two hours ago...so unless you're sweeping up I'd say yes...time to go home now.

That works both ways though. Politicians just use different sources for their "facts"

What - great foresight as-in? He guessed we'd end up in this mess???

    Match thread - Crewe

Why do people refer to JPT as a "mickey mouse" cup? It's where we are at & the only realistic opportunity, where we are at, for Clubs/Fans/Players to go to Wembley & win something...a prize...revenue! Don't knock it.

    Match thread - Crewe

That I cannot agree with. We have a great away record & have got to the JPT Area Final. It's simply that we have not found the answer as to the question "Why are we such a soft touch at home?"

    news from club workers

We might as well suggest Dean Holdsworth as one of them just to stoke the fire...Achieved nothing at Aldershot, would be cheap, has experience & he's available!

    news from club workers

Another laughable piece of twaddle! "He couldn't reveal the names" - why do people say or post such nonesense?

    Match thread - Crewe

That's an excuse...others have similar stadia...but win at home. The reason must be that we aren't quite good enough.

A Bournemouth-Sheffield draw would suites best...and one of those increasingly rare home wins!

    Jimmy Hill or Sillett/Curtis?

Beyond comparison. Curtis (the real driving force IMO...I think they complimented each other though) & Sillett gave us our finest hour (& a half), but the whole season was fantastic. Hill gave us what is still our identity, our song & years of sustained top-flight success, cheerleaders, THAT...

Maybe you should've called this thread "To be, or not to be" since that is the real question

    Men Behaving Badly

Struth! Fact is every club has a mixture of fans. Some of them are prone to chant, some are prone to goad, some to take issue with goading & respond. Another fact is that Coventry is a big City with many more inhabitants & therefore likely - more supporters than a relatively small town. Some of...

    JPT area final

Agree with a lot of what you say...particularly disagree with the "tinpot cup" status (especially as you appear to disapprovingly refer to others calling it a "mickey mouse" cup"). It is a trophy & to L1/2 clubs brings valuable revenue, & is their only realistic opportunity of winning anything...

    Match Thread vs Crewe

Could be good psychologically though...they might not be up for it the next few games rather than risk injury (he said clutching at straws) so they might lose a few besides this weekend...one less to worry about in the play-off/promotion contenders
