Win promotion or the FA Cup ?

Promotion. As great as it would be to win the FA Cup again it just doesn’t have the same prestige it used to have.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

I did see some MAGA commentator compare Trump to Navalny.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

The DUP like to use it. But they also don’t believe same sex couples don’t have the right to marriage, some of them at least believe the earth is flat, they believe dinosaurs are a hoax and they don’t believe women have the right to ownership over their own bodies. Not exactly good company to be in.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

What hypocrisy? I think the Irish were right to fight the English for independence. Are you saying that the Irish were wrong? What are you basing your assumption on that’s the majority of people in the annexed by force areas of Ukraine want to be part of Russia other than some sham elections...

Don’t you like to refer to the GFA as the surrender act? If you’re looking for ridiculous you’re it.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

I haven’t excused anything in Ireland. You’re seriously conflating 400 years of history between the UK and Ireland with Putin invading another country in the 21st century. Even what happened 100 years ago took 300 years to get to that point. We’re supposed to be living in different times and if...

I’m not sure where the Hypocrisy is. You’re comparing apples with oranges and the only possible justification you can come up with for saying it’s hypocrisy involves swallowing Russian propaganda hook line and sinker.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

I’m not sure that’s how it works. Do you want/expect Italy to be part of Ireland or the UK just because you’ve settled there?

    USSR invades Ukraine.

And you know that how? There’s zero evidence that the majority want that in those areas unless you’re prepared to take Russian organised elections after the initial invasion as gospel and I seriously doubt that you’re silly enough to do that.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Ha ha ha. I knew you were going to say that. The big difference of course is the majority of the population in Northern Ireland see themselves as British and as part of the agreement of the creation of Northern Ireland and the Free State of Ireland is that Northern Ireland remains sovereign...

    USSR invades Ukraine.

A brave man standing up to Putin. He even voluntarily returned to Russia after recovering in Germany from a failed state assassination attempt from Novichok, he would have understood his fate doing that yet still did it. RIP

Shouldn’t a population always hold those in government responsible for dealing corruption in government? Me and my principals again.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Can I just check. Am I still allowed to support Ukraine solely on the principle that a country has the right to defend itself from an invading country and regain its sovereign territory, so nothing to do with what the US or any one else says? I ask because that’s what I’ve been doing.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

You’re talking about a man who was convinced that his army would be waved in all the way to Kyiv by cheering crowds throwing petals at feet of his army contrary to all the evidence. Always worth bearing in mind when trying to work out how Putin thinks.

I think he’s one of those guys that if you’re from the Coventry area and of a certain generation you’ve almost certainly heard of him and quite possibly know someone who knows him or know him yourself. I was put on to him by a lad I used to work with in Coventry who knew him personally as he’d...

I read Watch my Back many moons ago and really enjoyed it. Good read, especially if you’re familiar with Coventry.
