Match Thread Peterboro. v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 31st Dec

So painful watching him play at the moment, I think it was the MK Dons match at home where it really struck that me that this player shouldn't be playing at any sort of level anymore.

Sordell carrying a knock or is Slade already a clueless idiot?

    Fisher Lost The Plot

Just cause Fisher is a dick doesn't give everyone else involved a free pass to be dicks also.

    Bob Bradley

Swansea are a joke club now, thrown away there beliefs and values that got them where they are. Without the direction and plan they will go down to the championship and probably fall further

    51pts should see us safe...

I think you had a point mate, when people say experience and physicality that can be interpreted lots of ways and some of those interpretations are definitely not what we need.

    51pts should see us safe...

Exactly Vincelot wasn't massive in size but he had the right experience, leadership qualities and physicality for this division.

Your not convincing me mate, more often than not he will give the ball away or have a poor shot when given time and space.

    51pts should see us safe...

We need leaders, no question about that. However experience does not always equal leadership, which I think is a common misconception. We need some more physicality, no question about that. Physicality isn't just size though, no use having some 6 foot 4 brute if he's 35 and can no longer run...

    51pts should see us safe...

Yea I just don't think he is very good, don't think it is to do with his size or physicality.

    51pts should see us safe...

I'm not sure it is a valid point on Lameiras. Sure he's shit against physical team which is valid, but as far as I can see Lameiras is also shit against not so physical teams. He's just not a very good player who turns up once every 20 matches, not to do with physicality. I don't agree with...

    Anymore gems?

My overriding thought when I read this is what will we do when the academy is all but gone at the end of the season

    Fisher Lost The Plot

That was a classic, all you heard was desrisive laughter whilst Fisher squirmed uncomfortably in his seat

Owning our own stadium is it really a must?

Do you reckon you could be successful if you were only allowed to use the premises 25 days of the year for 3 hours at a time? Also on the days you use it you only get about 20℅ of the revenues you make in that time.

Owning our own stadium is it really a must?

Renting is fine if we have 365 unrestricted access to the venue and access to the revenue streams. At the moment we get it for 3 hours on a match days and no revenues.

I think he had adequate funds, I think a bigger barrier in attracting players was the clubs off field problems and uncertainty.

But the football club also need that 1 million to cover operating losses on a weekly basis. Most of it is probably gone now.

Send agyei, wright and mcbean back and Mcann leaving anyway. Bring in two centre halves and shift Willis to right back, hopefully stokes will be back soon also. So potentially have Willis and stokes as full backs with two new centre halves which if the two centre halves are competent would be a...
