I agree...just said on another thread that if SISU fight to retain ownership - that suggests try see real future value/return...whic adds value straight away...that attracts interest...whic gives Appleton more options...which leads to better outcomes for CCFC & all who sail with her.

If they do then I see that as a positive. That would mean they see some really good tangible money to be made in the club - & that adds value - & that attracts interest - that gives Appleton more options - and theoretically better & happier outcomes for me & you :-))

Yes...I think you've helped organise my thoughts on SBT more rationally there. They have good intention - that I do not doubt. Unfortunately the powers that be exploit/use/manipulate such organisations for both/either their own intentions which can be good or bad for those the SBT represent.

I agree with what you say. This is where that corporate bullshit "transparency comes into play", along with that power thing you & I discussed the other night. SBT wants to know stuff, & even find stuff out in the name of & with the trust of the fans...but the fans cannot trust them to represent...

A few of my thoughts... 1. In Appleton we MUST trust. I believe he legally has to be seen to act independently & fairly within his remit. 2. Commercially he'd be a bit stupid to do anything other than be independent. He & his company cannot rely on SISU as their only future source on...
