    Season Tickets!!!

The 6 new clubs will all bring decent numbers. Plymouth travel well despite the distances. I’m struggling to think which teams brought less than 1k this year. Wigan, Reading, maybe Blackburn?

    Season Tickets!!!

A lot of people will be waiting for payday at the end of the month. If, and it’s a big if at this stage, we can get everyone to renew, we’ll be looking at 19k as the absolute lowest gate next year. We should average around 23k. This is how you grow a football club

    Season Tickets!!!

9k sold by the first proper day of sales is good going. Wasn’t that about the total in the 21-22 season by August?

    Gyokeres

And the slimy agent will pocket £1m for pretty much nothing. I’m reminded of Brian Clough. “In the 70s the only agent was 007, and he only shagged women, not entire football clubs” 😂

    Attendances next season

Simple fact is if we do well we get decent crowds. If we do badly we don’t. Just like 95% of all other clubs. As I’ve said many times, we aren’t special one way or another

We Have The Best Players (Rose)

A player’s personality is clearly a big factor in who Robins signs. His signings have always been decent, likeable guys. Pre Robins I remember plenty of players who come across as absolute arseholes

Luton Town could play first Premier League games away

Press facilities and floodlights. PL grounds now need a permanent TV studio and extra bright LED floodlights. Ours aren’t bright enough for Ultra HD TV. If you saw the Middlesbrough ones they could do all that fancy flashing bollocks before the game. Ours take about 5 minutes to get bright...

Luton Town could play first Premier League games away

The ground is being brought up to spec. Too much is being made of Kenilworth Road. Almost all grounds outside teams who have been in the PL recently do not meet PL requirements, including our own. Middlesbrough for instance had to spend £5m on the Riverside when they were promoted to the PL...

Luton Town could play first Premier League games away

No. No one from the old First Division was either

Luton Town could play first Premier League games away

Ones at the CBS aren't bright enough for UHD broadcasting, which they need to be for Premier League broadcasting

Luton Town could play first Premier League games away

60s? More like the 20s! Most of Highfield Road was built in the 60s and was still miles ahead of Luton. The CBS would’ve needed new floodlights, and a permanent TV studio. Obviously nothing like Luton need, but would Mike Ashley have been paying for it?

Luton Town could play first Premier League games away

Everyone forgets that our ground would also need work, and it was never clear as to who would pay for it if promotion had happened

Luton Town could play first Premier League games away

Which is sensible. It would ensure their long term stability. That ground right now is like an anchor around their necks

    What is happening?????

Why are they always so secretive about these things? To the point that they have to be prompted to make a statement?

    Attendances next season

That’s the same for all clubs on that list though, and due to geography makes us look deceptively bad. The official Coventry built up area has a population of 360k. Sheffield has a built up area of 685k. Bristol has a built up area of 617k. Cardiff has a built up area of 447k...

    Attendances next season

They’ll bring fewer this time as 4.5k seems to be the new maximum given to away fans. However that should be offset by our increased home support

    Transfer Rumour Jerry Yates

That’s a better position to be in anyway. This year if Gyokeres had got injured we would’ve been stuffed

    Season tickets

He’ll end up missing out on sales because right now an awful lot of city fans can’t face football. They’ll think to themselves that they’ll wait a few weeks. By then the new season will have started and they’ll just pay on the gate. Should’ve had them up for sale last week when interest was high
