Fisher On CWR after 8 This Morning

That isn't what he said. He did say that people can say what they like - it won't make any difference, but already it has given comments about the Memorial Garden, Statue & Bricks...PLUS the Ricoh negotiation stance...it's softened.

Fisher On CWR after 8 This Morning

That was something I noted too. That was a different tone today compared to last time regarding talking to ACL. They have made it clear they will only talk with the administrator apparently. That & the Memorial Garden, Bricks & Statue areas he's sought to "clarify" & "apologise" about.

    The trust ?

Which is why I applaud your patience & efforts.

    What are the SBT saying!!!

You're assuming that all fans think the same as you...& are so adamantly closed/opposed to the current owners. I'll grant you that most of us have had enough of them...but if they end up staying & the trust have burnt all their bridges by publicly campaigning to get them out - we end up with a...

    England V Republic of Ireland

Over the years I think there have only really been a handful of exceptions to my assessment IMO - one was the 1996 Euros v Scotland. It had some excitement, some class & a result (the right way!)

    What are the SBT saying!!!

If this was some kind of 3-way gunfight...if you come down too far in favour of one side or another & shoot the other guy dead. You can't just go say "sorry - I'm on your side now" if your later knowledge or understanding tells you that you shot the wrong side. The trust isn't in a position to...

    The trust ?

I mean I trust that you all have good intent. On the other hand I personally do not think your letters, petitions & meetings really achieve a great deal. your efforts are admirable I applaud rather than knock your trying, it's the people you are dealing with or at least their motivations that...

    England V Republic of Ireland

Typical home nations clash...serves as a reminder why ditching the Home Internationals was actually a good idea IMO

    The trust ?

Maybe psgm1 is best person to speak to on that...NOT!!! Don't know personally, just think the "Trust" bit means I trust them to have the best intentions for the club moving forward, although I cannot say I agree with all they think...or do.

    What are the SBT saying!!!

Fair enough...but still no mention of 12k capacity I think I'm right in saying?

    What are the SBT saying!!!

I think you got that from somewhere unreliable. He never said what capacity they had in mind. 8k I think was reference to what they would anticipate if playing at Walsall or similar. As for 12k capacity - that might be based on listening to fans, because if they believe what about 90% of...

SISU may still be the best option!

It's not that simple. Try & give what to you is a useless strip of land (say a foot wide) to your neighbour for him to put a wall up for example. Your mortgage lender would go ballistic! So to expect CCC/ACL (or anyone else!) to give the their share of the stadium away is just not a realistic idea.

SISU may still be the best option!

Agree...bar the 3rd paragraph. We were at our weight for a fair bit in the top-flight & even dallied with glory, but for seizing the opportunity to quickly strip & rebuild after the Cup win IMO. Then broke the bank to try to accommodate a couple of stars & have paid the price ever since.

    CCFC make groundsman redundant

In fairness - CCFC (is it Holdings? Or Ltd...link is taking ages to open) have no ground...no groundsman required i.e. redundant (similar has happened to me twice in the last 10yrs, so I feel for him/her it ain't nice). They are fully planning on using someone else's ground whose groundsman...

    What are the SBT saying!!!

Maybe the trust are taking what they think is a more realistic view of the eventual outcome if SISU remain than you are? Maybe that's because they know more than you & the wider "Us"? As for the Southampton fans...I live there & no they didn't have bigger ambitions - they got lucky (as we might...

    Many there this morning ?

The fact is...our no-show next season would be a minor irritation for the FL, would mean a pretty significant 1/7(approx) loss in gate revenue for the other L1 clubs, lots of other party's that would shrug their shoulders & walk away putting their losses down to experience & us with a gaping...

SISU may still be the best option!

I hold a balanced view too. The fact is - & as unpalatable as some might think it - SISU may yet still be our only realistic option! The best bid for the main creditors is ultimately the winner...as SISU (in various guises) form the bulk of the creditors. They are best placed to know what the...

Paul Appleton you can go down in Sky Blue History today

Nothing overly - Creditor's meeting with the administrator.

The point is that no matter what his heart tells him - he has to go with the rules of his job (= his head)
