He's better than burge but was clearly considered surplus to requirements by the management

Damn Burge doing his best to make sure the clown O'Brien gets his place back. First goal was a shot straight down the middle, second was the same again although he managed to do slightly better this time and parry it back to the player for a tap in and third he is beaten on his side for the free...

Keeper had no choice but to play to the whistle regardless of whether he though it was unfair/unjust/incorrect decision.

Coventry capitalise on clanger Here it is a little clearer. He dummies to take the free kick first and checks backs, looks at the keeper and put his left hand out to him. Rolls it back and Mcnulty nips in. I still can't say for sure if his intention was to take the free kick or give it back to...

So the 10 yard thing isn't important, its all about whether Clarke has actually taken the free kick or not. Whether you think his intention was to take the free kick or to give it to the keeper to take. Either way its a cock up and sloppy from Clarke, its why most of the time you will now see...

Offences and sanctions If, when a free kick is taken, an opponent is closer to the ball than the required distance, the kick is retaken unless the advantage can be applied; but if a player takes a free kick quickly and an opponent who is less than 9.15 m (10 yds) from the ball intercepts it...

When a quick free kick is taken the 10 yard rule does not apply, it would only apply if Mcnulty had deliberately obstructed Clarke from taking the free kick.

Btw I don't think the argument that the keeper played on matters, he didn't really have a choice he had to play to the whistle. He could have tried to do a barthez of all those years ago where he just stood still with his arm up and let di canio score an easy goal

I dunno if Clarke's intention was to take the free kick or give it to the keeper to take. But it's a lesson learned for Grimsby, clarke should have left the ball if he wanted the keeper to take it, ref had no choice but to allow the goal.

Clarke actually dummies to take the free kick long before he taps it back. Looks a good goal to me

Grimsby had a free kick and th defender passed it back to the keeper. McNulty ran on to the pass and scored Grimsby are saying the defender was giving it to the keeper to take the free kick

Only reason I can see why it hasn't been confirmed is that Leicester don't want it to go to tribunal

So basically no one wanted him and he didn't have enough confidence in himself to make himself a free agent

He could sign the contract with whoever and whenever he wants, it would be down to the clubs to then either agree a compensation package or send it to a tribunal if it can't be agreed. CCFC aren't holding up the signing as we are powerless to stop it. If the deal is agreed between Leicester...
