Exactly. And even then (as much as I would feel a lot more confident with a proven goalscorer/young premier league loanee up front, we don't actually know if Sordell and K.Thomas when he's fit, will do the business.

Jones didn't sign a permanent contract until this summer. Gadzhev...to be honest I genuinely didn't think it was as early as March, but fair enough. You can agree this was a signing for this season though no? It's definitely how i recieved it at the time.

At 17 I'd be starting to bring him on for 5/10 minutes here and there when we're winning games. Doesn't seem to happen that much with us though until they're much older.

Pretty fair summary, would agree with most of that. Still hoping that RE the bold bit above, he still might have them on the way it's just taking longer
