Aha! Searched by the PIN instead...found & joined :-)

I don't think I have actually joined ones one - I can't find the Coventry Legends one at all!

    Fantasy I team app

Searched but can't seem to find it...Coventry Legends League doesn't exist - or am I doing something wrong?

BT Sport added to Virgin Media, no extra cost for XL users

Do yourself a favour though...how often do you watch some of the channels available? I realised that 90% time is spent on the BBC/ITV/Ch4/Ch5/Dave/Gold channels in my house. Catch-up used about 1/month. So spoke to Virgin - & there's even a Freeview package available...saved a stack, & so...

    New protest idea

Actually...what crowd? Just avoid the away end lol I think the Skyblue toilet paper is a good idea - mabe we could get the Sheffield fans to show support for the cause? We buy a shed-load & distribute them outside? If they get confiscated on the way in though..?

    New protest idea

That's why they're fired from outside the ground...onto the pitch i.e. OVER the fans. The flares like distress-flares is what I had in mind - they have little parachutes or something to make it a slow decent - players see them coming down & move out of the way. I will generally not support ANY...

    Ideas to keep pressure on?

Funnily enough that would work IMO during the Sheffield game. Another alternative/addition as I posted earlier on another thread...Skyblue flares fired from outside of the ground over the pitch just after/before the Sheffield live on TV kick-off??? Even just 20 fired at the same time (mobile...

    New protest idea

You can hire them...google should be able to help. Just a reliance on Sky to give it significant coverage is the worry. A 5 seconds clip is about all I think they'd devote. Flares during coverage cannot be ignored at all though.

    New protest idea

How about a job-lot of Skyblue flares fired from outside of the ground over the pitch just after/before the Sheffield live on TV kick-off??? Even just 20 fired at the same time (mobile phone timers to synchronise) would delay the kick-off as they'd need to be cleared...needs few people to...

    New protest idea

I think you are right. If an empty plastic bottle is a missile...so is a tennis ball. I think it would hit headlines if there were enough of them to delay KO - but all that money supporting the move to Northampton too is a bad idea.

    New protest idea

All very well unless you're the one that gets caught. Most people IMO want to show support FOR something, not protest against...the mind likes positive actions...& positive outcomes. Fines, banning orders, telling-off from the missus/mom or dad/Police - to some it makes them feel "hard", to most...

    Football League London W1U 8FL Wed 14 Aug 4.30-6.30pm

FL & TF will be rubbing their hands with glee. "We're over the worst" in terms of protest & resistance - they'll be encouraged by this. More thought into this kind of thing needed. Imagine what impact a protest outside Wembley would have made? And would have generated much better exposure - FL...

    SISU Appeal Judicial Review

If anyone needs any more convincing - instead of funding expensive court actions, designed to further distress ACL...they might double (or more) the ticket sales at Northampton by funding free travel to/from Sickfields...which would then help cover the cost of Clarke, Baker & Murphy. Suggests to...

    SISU Appeal Judicial Review

If that is the case I find myself offering credit (there's a first) to the FL...because it's given ACL a further lifeline allowing them to carry on the fight.

Bob Ainsworth - Letter from Companies House

The thing is, I would be most surprised if everything was not all ready to go, & hence get them out of any really incriminating or damaging situation. I wonder if they wait until the last minute as there might a few areas where some fiddle-factor can be worked in to their advantage. By waiting...

Another reply from the football league

Yup, me too Amanda Craig a Customer Services Administrator...at least Pomfret is an Officer which sounds much more important. I think it simply shows contempt. They are seriously hoping & expecting us to lose interest in this & eventually quietly drift off to Northampton or wherever our...

    Football League London W1U 8FL Wed 14 Aug 4.30-6.30pm

No chance they're there on match days...they're in the directors' box at various plush stadiums (in fact probably Old Trafford, Emirates, Anfield, Etihad, White Hart Lane or Stamford Bridge) as guests.

I had a FL response too...

I've just searched through the link they sent me regarding the "fit & proper" test... http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/FAQ/FAQsDetail/0,,10794~2428071,00.html It is well worth a read in fairness, as it demonstrates how toothless it is (& hence they are). It's a frigging self-test!!! The...

I had a FL response too...

To bring you up to speed, I emailed Mr Clarke at the FL & respectfully asked him how he could reconcile his 125 Anniversary speech referring to CCFC & the "fit & proper" test with the reality of the owners. Something he said about owners had to be shown not to have done anything not legal &/or...

    Warwick Uni (land near)

Difference is - I suspect you are guessing about your chances. If these rumours are true...they are trying to make something happen (even if it isn't the building of a new stadium)
