    Stadium update

Seems all important to us but it's just detail. What matters to him is just the line in the accounts accounting for player sales.

    We cannot defend set pieces

Dead right. A little push before jumping here, a shirt tug there, just relentlessly. The first corner came from a clear handball, the stadium went up for it but not the ref nor the Lino, who was right next to it and looking the right way. It's been cut from the highlights reel unfortunately so...

    We cannot defend set pieces

Lampard has had every chance to bring in his own person, especially over the summer, so it appears he's happy with what Aled is doing...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Leicester looked quite useful on opening day, the way they won from behind in the second half was pretty strong. Better than us against Hull tbh!

Match Thread Millwall - Coventry City [LC] Match Thread - Tuesday 26th Aug

Grimes put one on his head perfectly from an early corner. I'd rather give a kid a chance at this stage, Simmo can't be ahead of Obikwu on merit

    Wright

Being sent home injured will have done him no favours. It's better for us that he doesn't go just now, I think there's more still to come from him.

When Haji came on he looked like a thoroughbred next to poor Ellis's Blackpool donkey.

    Reflecting on SISU

Bloody cool on the Birmingham Canal though, dodging all the trollies and the dead bodies...

A cuddly toy and a poxy hostess trolley. Why on earth did they never gamble?

    Reflecting on SISU

It'll be interesting to see how the finances are operated in future. It won't be called "rent" if they have any PR sense but they'll be some cost to the football side of the operation for the use of the stadium I would think. That's just how accountants work. They'll need to account for running...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

I think the club will be disappointed with that if the rumours that they offered him to Wolves were true.

Left back in the changing rooms!

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

He's only averaged about 10 league games a season for the past 3 years though so 14 injured is a big fraction!

Sponsored by Bupa I think ;)

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

I don't think there's anything to worry about. 51 games last season on loan at PNE

    BTA

Lampard said that BTA was the player who came back the fittest after the break. It looked that way preseason to me, his touch wasn't there then but he was getting into dangerous positions and looking lively. His touch is coming I think. We shouldn't forget that he scored 10 for West Brom, that's...

He does say it would be very unlikely!

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

They'd do that if a move was imminent but not a couple of weeks away or if a move was still uncertain.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

They've been looking for a bit more money probably but it doesn't seem to have been happening. He's been brilliant so far as you say. This probably needs to happen to bring in a CB, I don't know but that's just the way I've seen it all summer.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Ayari was a bit lightweight but it was obvious that he could play. We've had a habit over the years of getting players just that one season or so too early. Chaplin was one, Clarke-Harris another that spring to mind just now
