    Wave of optimism

I am sure that CCC said they could manage without CCFC as tenants simply as a bluff, trying to phych Sisu out. I can understand why they sold to Wasps and not to Sisu and that is entirely Sisu's fault. However, the real hammer blow to CCFC in all of this was the sale of the Ricoh to Wasps. It...

    TIM FISHER's BPA Lies

I thought Sisu were struggling financially?

    TIM FISHER's BPA Lies

I would certainly do this. Charlton apparently have a fighting fund of 30k I think I read. Maybe something for the Trust or got the Fight the Jimmy Hill Way group to coordinate.

    Fisher is the problem

He constantly gives misinformation and half truths, constantly contradicts himself. It is hard to know sometimes what the real situation is. He was asked point blank yesterday if the club is for sale, he said no. Yet he was also saying how the club is a good investment for potential buyers.

    Next Protest

Don't think any disruptive protest there would be planned. More a case of showing the sort of support new owners could expect if they got things right. The 7000 who turned up 2 or 3 years ago was a really impressive turn out.

    Next Protest

I thought that the movement of people from the seats high up in the stadium down to the front on Thursday night was very dramatic and really gave the impression that something was about to happen. Similarly when people started to move into the Telegraph stand the excitement and expectation...

    Next Protest

I would agree except that Wimbledon fans have attended in number both their games at MK

MK is ideal because it is not too far away and has an away end that can accommodate thousands of fans.

I know some would not like this simply because it is Wasps, however it was suggested at a Trust open meeting that as many City fans as possible attend a televised Wasps match and make a constant noise with pro City and anti Sisu chants, maybe even whistles. Apparently there isn't much chanting...

I think we are already in the fire

Coventry City will die if we stay at the Ricoh - Fisher

Depends what terms the long term deal would be on.I am sick of hearing Fisher spout on about the need for 365 day a year income. Yes he is right in the fact that we need extra income. However, he and Sisu do absolutely nothing to increase the turnover in our current situation. There are lots of...

    Wave of optimism

What do you think was the purpose of the move to Northampton? I am sure that even one of the judges mentioned that this was a move to purely distress ACL. For CCFC it was a disaster and a decision that has lead to further catastrophic fall out for our club. Fisher and Sisu have demonstrated time...

Referring to last season under TM rather than this.

    so basically

Budget doesn't affect the quality of player brought in and hence performance on the pitch? Mid to lower League One budget is what Fisher said.

    Hope

I am in the same boat. I never thought I would not attend matches at home but thinking about it now. If I don't renew it will be purely on the basis of not giving money to to fund their "break even" policy. I will still be a City fan, I will go to away games as I did during the Sixfields debacle...

    What are former players saying

If it is then good. Why would you object to it? Don't players have the right to say what they feel?

    Wave of optimism

You make the judgement that if you protest against Sisu you must like Wasps or support CCC. Wasps are a franchise and should not be here. CCC sold the Ricoh to Wasps and so dealt the club perhaps a mortal blow. I don't support either of these organisations. What I can see and that you...

    The bottom line

I listened again to the phone in this morning. It really seemed to be a constant thread in what Fisher was saying that "We must keep the club alive, while it is alive there is hope." What also seemed apparent was that the "we" he was on about wasn't the fans it was himself and the crew he works...
