With the Thorn comment 'We've picked up quite a few injuries'

If Clarke and Christie were to now be out for Tuesday then that leaves Jordan Willis to come in and we would have no defenders at all to put on the bench. We would have to put an academy kid on there. 1 more defensive injury and we would be well and truly fooked.

With the Thorn comment 'We've picked up quite a few injuries'

After yesterday's game, is that now pretty much all hope gone? I think that's just about it for us now. Clarke was injured and then so too Christie and according to AT, Christie's injury didn't look at all good and he went home on crutches. Think this has now come down to it not being...

How is it a golden opportunity though, Paxman? Our only hope is a takeover. With us losing so much money Sisu's policy has consistently been to sell players and cash in when ever we can. Well, we sold pretty much all the silver last season (Turner, Juke etc.). All we have left worth...

I did think your call was very good actually and was quite impressed with what you had to say. The norm though is to talk in terms of top 6, top 10 or bottom 3 finishes, not top 9. Do understand you were making a very valid point though. You just look at those stats going way back and it's...

    From Bristol HMMMMM!

He does seem a good sort this Bristol fan. Not every away fan is our enemy you know.

That's fair enogh then. Never really used it for that myself, though I do follow the CT and a couple of mates who are Cov fans.

But as has been said before, if Sisu are still in change they will continue to sell players. If Craine and Clingan are to be off anyway, that only really leaves Keogh and the talented kids that are worth anything and you can be bound sure that first decent offer that come in for the likes of...

17.04.12: City vs Millwall; Bristol City vs West Ham

A bit of sucking the ball into the net wouldn't go amiss either, thanks.

I took his comments as being legit. Don't know why he said that then. Actually ... it's just come to me ..... he did actually say top 9 finishes. I wondered why he said that and did think it rather odd to go for top 9 rather than top 6 or top 10. Looks like he has been selective with his stats.

As a bloke said on the post match phone in, in 40 years we have only had 3 top 10 finishes in any division. Truly shocking. People can predict all they want about League One, but history tells us we will struggle just the same in League One as we have in the Championship. This club has got...

17.04.12: City vs Millwall; Bristol City vs West Ham

I know we have all got many of the predictions wrong of late for all the teams down there, but I really cannot see Bristol beating West Ham. A win for West Ham on Tuesday could put them in the top 2 and their away form is very good. Think Bristol have been riding their luck a bit lately, both...

I agree. If there is one game we are going to win you would have to think Donny. I think the Millwall game will be very, very tough.

And all you can say about West Ham is that they should be in with a good shout of beating Bristol. They do seem to have found their shooting boots of late, having scored in their last 3 games, 6, 3 and 4.

17.04.12: City vs Millwall; Bristol City vs West Ham

Going to hard for kids to shine though isn't it, thrown into such crucial games. Clarke went off injured and AT said Christie looks particulary bad as he went home on crutches. That now means having to throw Jordan Willis in and probably having a defender from the academy on the bench. Not...

    To cheer everyone up

Absolutely cool with me. A number of occasions I have got it wrong and a number of occasions I have got it right. Dig away. I know for a fact that I said I had a bad feeling about Bristol and Forest but was also very confident about our beating Peterborough and Brighton away. Hope you've...
