    Rushworth or Wilson

You're right - worse than that.

    Rushworth or Wilson

He's been our most improved player this season by a country mile. He was bloody awful leading into the Leicester away game and that save seemed to serve to kickstart his season. He probably realised that it was going to be make or break for him this year right there. Don't forget that even...

Most improved player of the season (so far)

Probably Rushworth. Looked like a sack of spuds in August...

    Annual accounts published

You can see why Sheaf went before Woolfie came in. The idea that we offered £10m for Hughes was just bananas but people just lap up the transfer window nonsense from the media. If we miss out for some reason then they'll need to be a bit of a rebuilding this summer.

    The forgotten Ellis Simms

We're not replacing Haji for under £20m probably more. I can't see King throwing money around like Sunderland have this season either and factor in the wages on top, it's a huge risk. Haji will stay if he wants to and if the WC doesn't make him unaffordable for us.

Who makes it in the Prem?

It looks pretty likely that Brighton still want Rushworth but have we got half a chance of a loan next season? He's probably priced himself out of our league now.

    The forgotten Ellis Simms

He looked like he was injured yesterday. I doubt he'll be playing Saturday. Back in the autumn he started BTA ahead of Simmo when Haji was out, it'll be interesting to see what he does now.

Very concerned about the Haji injury. What do we know so far?

    10 more wins does it

We do have Onyeka now and we're absolutely at full strength that's a huge plus. I just think we'll need to see a bit more flair and ambition if we're going to get to 90pts or thereabouts.

    10 more wins does it

We're reliant on the defence holding. JDS, just for example and not to pick him out unnecessarily, made 4 or 5 glaring errors 2nd half that might well have been punished on another day, I think how we play matters. We have probably the best mf in the division, now is the time to see what we can...

    10 more wins does it

That doesn't explain the first half either. We set up to sit pretty deep and hit a very poor side on the break and with long balls over the top. We're at full strength now and we'll need more than that in future games against better opposition.

    10 more wins does it

I'm looking for and expecting 90 pts - that's positive! It's all those hoping to sneak in with 82 or something that are scared.

    10 more wins does it

Hope so. I want to see 2pts per game certainly. There's going to be a right ding dong for the playoff spots with Blues and Wrexham in it now too. That'll push the standard up.

    10 more wins does it

Boro have just done it. We can't rely on the others falling short.

    10 more wins does it

85-88 points has only once been good enough for Automatics in the last 10 years, I think. History tells us we're going to need the points.

    10 more wins does it

We have 10 pts in the last six games. If we project that form we get 20 pts in 12 games putting us on 85 with the final game to play. It could go to the wire and I'd like to be going at 2pts per game really. Onyeka seems to have settled the side but we didn't show a lot of attacking intent...

    Three New Contracts

My guess is that these playes were promised improved wages because there has been some interest in them behind the scenes. Interesting that Lampard said that no other negotiations were taking place despite rumours ealier in the season around Haji (and Lampard himself!) It's really unusual that...

Match Thread Coventry City - Middlesbrough Match Thread - Monday 16th Feb

Some would do well to learn from Bamford that strikers don't score with every attempt either, neither does it make them sh1t! Our goals from midfield have dried up, so too the CBs and the no10 position has been pretty unproductive, we can't put it all on Haji! An average of 1 goal in three...
