Reply from the FL on the rent offer

They have said they'd mediate...but I think that requires both parties to want mediation & to want the FL as the mediator. If either party has anything like the same opinion of the FL as any "...real fans" do - there's no way they'd be considered for the role. I think the reply gained is fair...

    The Final Proof

That is a class retort IMO I see where Grendel might have an argument in this though to a point...if they disenfranchise the fans enough, they can then justify relocating to somewhere else that has a sizable population & welcoming council to redevelop an urban brownfield site...& to hell with...

Changyourfknattitude - your attitude & statement is the real embarrassment. The smoking thing is illegal in a public place, we need all the support we can get so I would thank MK Dons fans for their empathy, whilst wish those with your attitude would get lost! For the record it was my first...

Appeasement is never the answer - Hitler rose to do what he did because of it. I do not want other fans to quake in their boots when we are visiting them...eventually it comes back to bite you on the bum - as the thugs avoid trouble through safety in numbers. Small groups & families become the...

Obviously some despise such behaviours as we've debated, others think they're perfectly acceptable...99.9% of us are really somewhere leaning toward one stance or the other - but much nearer the middle. So, let's end this thread now & focus on the good & positives from the day.

Ahh...that makes it all alright then does it? Us (as I think those using the term would be including me in the category) "drama queens" ought to stop going to football (or out of the house at all) if we don't like THAT kind of behaviour apparently. I did read it earlier & I say this to the...

Or perhaps those booing need to grow up if they were offended by a 14yr old kid making an effort? Football 1/2 time "entertainment" ideas are a bit stuck in the 50's though aren't they? Better to perhaps play 1st 1/2 highlights & have someone from each side discuss the key bits.

I guess some of us forget there are always two sides to those kind of events.

That's a fair point, you might be right there...but I don't think thugs then would attack a bloke with his wife & kids in tow - I might be wrong.

So you condone all these "horror stories" then? Not even MK Dons fans are saying "all" Cov fans are guilty of this behaviour. It's a very small minority - but I would hazard a guess that it's still dreadful to the majority of people

Those who favourite sport is cricket or rugby would argue all day night with you on that one...players or fans. Just that for some reason the elements of society with the worst behavioural characteristics often tag onto football.

I agree he was far from what I'd call good...but he's 14...he's got guts to do what he did...he deserved respect. Don't clap him I you don't want is my stance but I'd reserve booing for for the bastard that threw the corner flag, & the seat, who thumped anyone else...you get the picture ;-)

It looked to me like he decided to do a 'worm' - didn't think it was a challenge but he made it look like his legs had been swiped from under neath him.

The country has not "gone to the dogs"...there are loads of good youngsters about - but they don't mix readily with the yobs. I have spoken out before now about other's...let's call it...inconsiderate behaviour, mostly over the first 15 of the20 yrs my kids have been growing up, & only twice in...

We lock horns again ferret ;-) I too was around then...& it was bad - but attacking a guy out with his family? That would be extremely rare in the 80's - even if he's said something about their behaviour...some respect & space would have been given.
