Yeah, at least with Blairism (rather than Starmer's piss poor approximation of it) he genuinely did want to do something about the causes "tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime" etc.
I was very encouraged by what I saw yesterday generally, though I was fairly optimistic about our chances in any case.

We've been decent enough, with better execution we could be ahead.
I'm hoping with Simms we'll see a Gyokeres-esque transformation from a clumsy cumbersome looking player to a powerhouse.

Not sure why Godden is getting the grief, Simms has been in a few good positions now as a result of his movement but has been dreadful
