    My concern with Robins

Eccles is average, saying he's top of progressive passes and this and that is a red herring. Simms and Wright will be at the top of the shooting charts for us but have still been poor this season. Just cause that's the role he's been given in this team, to try and play progressive passes and...

True but hard to take when Wright had 3 or 4 which were just as tight and flag went up every time

    My concern with Robins

He did multiple the same tonight, remember two corners and free kick which were just chipped in to the box. Two were caught easily by the keeper and the other we had no chance of scoring from. I just assumed he took them like that cause he isn't capable of whipping the cross in with pace and...

At this moment, it's a good starting point.

Sheaf? No idea if can put in a decent corner but you think he should be capable and can't be any worse than Eccles

If eccles is the best set piece taker at the club then that's abysmal

Do possession based teams work effectively at any level of football where player quality is of a similar level? Only works if your players are two or three levels above the opposition it appears. Having a high possession is usually a result of your players being so much better than the...

    My concern with Robins

Don't think it's a question of how long we give him, we stick with him for the season unless we are going down. We're 6 points clear at the moment so for all the gloom we still have a decent gap. If we're in the bottom 3 at Christmas serious consideration would need to be taken but i don't...

    Fine Margins

Today we did 90% of the game fine and the 10% that matters was terrible. I would rather we did the 10% that matters well and the other 90% shit. Hope we turn it around but without a Hamer or Gyokeres it's difficult to see how.

Honestly we don't look a terrible team but just piss poor in both boxes. Gave away a shit goal, knocked it about generally ok and got into good positions but no quality at the end and the one clear chance we had our record signing fucked it up. And Eccles should be nowhere near any set pieces.

    Fury v Ngannu

Other than the knockdown punch did ngannou throw any other punches of serious quality? Maybe in the 7th or 8th round but that still only two rounds.

    Fury v Ngannu

Fury won the fight, knockdown aside Fury did just enough in most of the rounds to get the decision. Didn't think it was as controversial as I was expecting Ngannou probably won 2 rounds outside the third round, 3 rounds if your being generous.

    It’s over isn’t it?

Just hope Robins is given the time, essentially we are rebuilding a whole new team. Same as he's always done over the last 7 years but just with more money spent this time.

    I trust Mark Robins

For me the only way he leaves is if we are going to get relegated, at the moment I don't think we will

    It’s over isn’t it?

It's very likely isn't it, last season was our chance. It's gonna take 2 to 3 years of rebuilding before we can have another squad capable of challenging, but is Robins really going to be given that time with the raised expectation and transfer fees we have paid for some players, then you sack...

    Ohare contract

Reads to me basically if he hits the ground running and there's lots of interest he will be off. If he struggles for form and fitness he will sign a new contract. Let's be honest he must still be gutted about the Burnley move falling down as seems like it was a goer until injury.

    Blackburn ratings

Don't most clubs use a green zone, orange zone, red zone policy indicating how likely an injury is. Given Kellys track record and he has played more football in the last few months than he did in the previous 3 years beforehand it wouldn't have taken a genius to highlight him as a high risk
